I have those same Reefs sans bottle opener.
Comfortable indeed.

new cheap mouse

something like this, as I was getting tired of having to charge my iPods through my PC all the time (It's ridiculous, Apple charges three times as much for an adapter like this than what I paid).

This was the one they dropped on me!
When we bought it, they said make sure you have two adults here to help carry the table because it weighs 160-180kgs or something. So we were like ok. The guy turns up, me and my brother are there and he's like (thick Indian accent) "No no we need 5 people. Get neighbours we need 5" I told him we just moved here and don't even know the neighbours, they told us 2 adults. He had no fucking idea what to do. He just looked at me and asked what to do, I told him to get the table out of the truck for starters. This could not be done, as he put in no effort whatsoever and couldn't move it so I had to drag it out myself. Essentially this pattern of "Removalist to me: What do we do now?" then me having to do all the work continued.
So at one point he is on one end basically doing nothing, my brother is at the other end of the table dragging it up the driveway (it was in a huge box so it didn't get damaged) and I was at the side making sure it didn't tip over. At some point it started to tip, so I bent down and took the weight on my upper back/shoulders to stop it... instead of the Indian helping to pull the table upright, he just stopped holding onto it

the entire thing came down on my back. I stopped it and managed to lift it back up but I was seriously close to being crushed under it. My brother went apeshit at him and he goes "oh sorry sorry I not know I can not lift". Anyway we got it inside and I told him to fuck off. The end.

That pool table sure looks heavier than regular ones especially with all the mechanism inside dealing with balls + coins.

This was the actual one I bought:

No coin slot unfortunately. Could've been a nice earner.

Fucking nice. I have been planning to get one of that as well as a projector and turn my basement into a total entertainment area. Only problem right now is $$$...

My trusty Rumblepad 2 finally gave up on me after a several years (well, it's still working but the left stick is messed up and drifting to the left now), so I just ordered its wireless equivalent:
Tue May 11, 2010 1:36 pm
Same thing happened with my old dual analog controller. Not surprising I suppose given the wear and tear on the left stick.
Wed May 12, 2010 7:22 am
The left stick can be fixed. As long as it's not physically leaning to the left but going left in games by default, it can be fixed.
I found a video of some guy fixing a controller online. He basically used some rubbing alcohol on the little metal sensors after taking it apart. I didn't have any rubbing alcohol so I just scraped it with a screwdriver a few times. Worked like a charm.
Edit -
Been thinking of purchasing this Cowon V5 pmp-

Rubbing it with a soft eraser also works, just make sure to dust or blow off the tiny bits from the eraser in the sensor, if there is some.
I would advice against the screw driver method since it may scratch off and remove bits of the metal sensor, potentially screwing up your controller.

recently me and my wife bought a couple of new plastic-metall windows in our new apartment, cuz old ones(actually they're new too, the house was build 1 year ago) were terrible, and we bought a kitchen furniture, 2.8 to 1.8 meters long, we spend $3500, other than that i bought to myself some shoes, but only in white color

and couple of those to my kid

Wed May 12, 2010 8:18 pm
What kind of man would buy white shoes like that?
Thu May 13, 2010 3:35 am
^Kobe. To go with his recent outfit.

Just ordered an Intel P55 ATX motherboard and 4GB of G.Skill RAM PC12800 to go with my new i5 CPU.

I'll have to wait til next month to assemble the whole thing cuz I'm also gonna need a new hard drive, but I'm too broke to buy it now. My crappy 7200RPM-8MB cache HD is certainly my main bottleneck right now, but I'm just not sure yet if I'll just go for more cache (32MB in this case), or for a 10000RPM drive. Probably the latter, since I don't need that much drive space anyway.
Tue May 18, 2010 11:23 am
Go for an SSD man! Hard drives are the biggest bottleneck in personal computers.
Tue May 18, 2010 3:21 pm
I certainly would if they were not 400-500 bucks for equivalent disk space. Those prices are ridiculous for now, I'm sure it'll be worth it at some point, but right now I don't think it's worth spending a fortune for the difference in performance that it would generate, compared to the impact that investing in a better CPU or GPU can have for example.

Today, I bought Wacom Bamboo Tablet with store credits that was going to be wasted on something totally useless anyways.
Trying to come up with a secondary logo for my brother's gym and this should help even though I suck at drawing, still hoping it'd be easier than drawing with a mouse.

There will be an adjustment period, but most people (illustrators) have said that they wouldn't go back to the mouse. The surface area might be too small, but give it a shot and see how you like it.

It blows people's mind when I show them the speech to text feature. I just talk and it types out the message. It works anywhere that shows the on screen keyboard, so I can speak out a post on the forum if I want to. Easily my favourite feature.

I want one of those so bad. Won't work in Australia though.
