They have a flash sale for Metro: Last Light for 3 more hours right now, just bought it.
Mon Jul 15, 2013 3:29 am
Day 4 is here. Pretty hard to beat Portal 2 for 5 bucks or Fallout: NV for $2.49.
The only one I bought however is Deadlight, it seems pretty fun for only $3.74.

That fool deserved to die for falling at 15% off.

I'd definitely recommend Fallout 3 GOTY Edition and Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition (both $4.99) to anyone who hasn't checked them out yet.

My playtime (and probably many others) is wrong since I started before they were counting it and also were before they have reset playtimes a few times. (I think the last time was in 2011 or so. The big one was in 2009 I want to say.)
For example, TF2 on the games page and that calculator say 120 hours. On the TF2 stats page on Steam it says 292 hours. (Which is probably closer to the truth but still short because I had at one point gone past 100 hours with the Medic.)
I also have no playtime for any goldsrc games despite gobs and gobs of hours of DoD, same with DoD:S which only has 7.4 counted ever and something I played nearly exclusively until TF2. (And no HL2DM or anything, not even Portal has hours.) Nothing for RO. I somehow have almost as much time with The Ship as Bloody Good Time which is a hateful lie. None for Making History which I only played too many hours of before switching to Gold. Nothing for the Sam and Max games despite finishing most of the first season. Only 5 hours for Defense Grid lol impossible. Even my Sanctum time isn't accurate and that's more recent.

Qballer wrote:btw, how do you guys have games that you haven't played. just curious. shitty free games?
That, game bundles, and buying games because you loved it so you want to add it to your collection after playing and finishing the

of it.
Mon Jul 15, 2013 3:59 pm
Just to illustrate the games not played problem:
http://steamcommunity.com/id/benji/stats/PortalThis is listed as not having ever been played by me. Yet I have all five achievements you get just playing through the main game including:
Heartbreaker
Complete Portal.
I still have a pretty high percentage though.
Bundles and
Steam Gifts are the easiest way to get stuff you don't intend to immediately play. (Especially when you might want one or two games for $1-5 and they give you five or six more with it. And then keep adding bonuses after you purchased. If you guys are good maybe I'll give away a bunch of these dumb extra bundle keys I have lying around. I heard some other dope has some he needs to get rid of as well.) Or when GamersGate fucks up so you get every Bethesda game for $21. (Or Valve does and JaoSming gets every Sonic game for $8.) Or Amazon throws games at you. And sometimes you played Freedom Force years ago at release and it was fucking sweet and you don't want or have the discs and you're like fuck yeah I want this sweet ass game and Gabe is all "75% off! less than a box of cereal!" and then you forget about it. And then sometimes you keep putting off Borderlands 2 because you don't want an hours count like Oz's. (Or worse, Shadowgrin's TF2 hours count.)
And sometimes people send you things like Mission Runway or immediate classics like GARSHASP but your gaming kung-fu is too weak and you're not man enough to take on the challenge.

A couple are freebies, others are games that I grabbed while they were on sale and just haven't gotten around to playing yet.

Shadow gifted me Garsharp, I intend to gift it back at him but mistakenly put it in my game library. The fucker.
Mon Jul 15, 2013 9:02 pm
It wasn't a mistake, it was your higher level of consciousness that made you do it because of that aim for perfection to be a better human being and GARSHASP is one of those steps to attain it.
Speaking of games that transcend taste and greatness, true to life realistic physics based simulator game Bad Rats is only 49 cents.

308.4h of total 314.3h were spent on Dota. LoL
Otherwise for Valve Master code which my buddy gave me, I'd have like 2 games on Steam.
