How many people have actually used more than 4 controllers?

Had some epic sports game fun on the PS2 with multitaps
Had even more fun with Rockband and 5 others

But everything is online now, although on PC I have plugged in 6 controllers to take screenshots for Live/2K

chicagoRAW, not me, though on occasion I'd have a group of friends numbering around 5 before usually our games don't even support more than 2 players let alone 1.

I've played 5 on 2k11 and played 7 on Fifa 12 lol
all 5 on one team caused some complaining about ball-hogging
4 vs 3 on Fifa was a bit hectic

we did 5 on the same team in Madden 2003 once....once. Everyone running for the QB and not in coverage, routes that made no sense and I think like 80% of the time the play turned into a sneak. I wish I could have recorded that kind of stuff.

Most for me was 4 players at once for NHL and Top Spin(aside from shooter, mario party, etc). We actually spent entire night playing Top Spin. Some games are just made for a multiplayer.

PS4's max 4 controller is fine for me. xBone's overdone it at 8 but I guess some will get to enjoy the feature like some of you's done it in past. Cool.

My friends and I just usually switch off at deaths in shooters and what not, 4 sounds alright. Like I said, most of my favorites are 1 or 2 player games to begin with.

I've had Internet issues the past 12 hours or so, couldn't play PS4 2K14 because of VC syncs, couldn't play Live 14 because lol no local roster saves, couldn't play Rivals because timeout errors with Origin. ugh.

CoreyA reports his X1's Blu-Ray drive has already broken down after 3 weeks of use.

Meanwhile, my DS4's left handle is already coming apart after a month of sparse use.

Can I use an X360 controller on the PS4 yet?

Even lazy in playing games, not just making them? :scold:

So, how is everyone doing on this debate going into E3?

If Xbone didn't have that DRM scare and the bundled Kinect, I'd probably have it rather than the PS4. But now that I have PS4/Vita/PS3 for PS+, and remote play on Vita, there is no way I'd sell the PS4 for a Xbone. Dat X1 controller is downright amazing though, dem triggers. I'll buy a Wii U before an X1.

No regrets about returning to Sony for this generation.

Have them both, and they both have their merits. PS4's kind of obvious, but X1 has a few cool features:

- Returning from stand-by means the game you were last playing is ready to go at the exact same point. You don't have to wait for a save point, nor do you have to wait for all the loading screens (and times) to resume back into your game when you start up your X1. It's instantaneous, and I love it. Granted, you can't trust it as a save system because power failures do occur, and the console doesn't keep the game state on a full shutdown AFAIK. Come home, "Xbox on" as soon as I'm in the door, by the time I put my things down and grab the controller a few seconds later, Forza is ready for me at the start of the race I was going into. No loading screens, no intros, no menus, no wait.
- Switching channels and controlling Netflix by voice when I'm not around the remote is neat. Not having to go through Comcast's horrible channel guide or remember the channel's 3-digit code is even better. "Watch TNT" and boom.
- THE CONTROLLER. SO MUCH LOVE FOR THIS THING. THE TRIGGERS, OOOOOOOH.
- Once you get used to the interface, it's... fine, but it could definitely be snappier. The PS4's ever-scrolling horizontal bar that includes disc games when the disc isn't in is... silly.
- The X1 controller's batteries last. A lot. The PS4 controller sometimes needs a recharge in the middle of a long play-session, which means switching to my second controller and hoping it has a charge on it.
- The "follower" system. A follow is similar to a friend request, without the need for the other person to accept, and with obviously limited features compared to a "friendship". So if I follow Jon on Trials, I'd be able to use the game's asynchronous multiplayer features and see him on the leaderboards under "friends", while he wouldn't be bothered by my presence in his game at all. It's cool when you want to go against people's times or scores that don't know you.

I think "suspend" is supposed to come to PS4 as well, sometime, doing that instantaneous lol at your electric bill stuff
