The follow up text was bizarre, they seemed like they were heading in the right direction. The hot black girl who quit was weird to me, almost like a plant. She served absolutely no purpose except to yell moderate abuse at John.
Most disturbing thing from that episode was that the hot waitress had hooked up with the fat bearded bar guy who couldn't string a sentence together and spoke like a girl.
Tue Sep 11, 2012 10:25 pm
I thought it was the...uh asiany?...thief she was making out with.
I didn't realize she quit or was fired, I thought she was just leaving while they were filming.
Thu Sep 13, 2012 1:53 pm
Yeah it's that guy, I just saw him as fat and bearded because I'm not a racist
Thu Sep 13, 2012 9:30 pm
Well as soon as it was known he was a thief I assumed he was black and thus looked like Tayvon and thus also looks like President Obama. Which I think we all agree is simply the natural assumption when there's a thief.
Imagine my surprise when I checked and it wasn't the black foreigner (like Obama) who was the thief. (He was somehow the owner for the business!)
Plus he had a bunch of extra money, she probably thought he was a drug dealer and then also assumed he was black.

lmao at the episode being used to promote a band
and then the little jab at the end
forgot to say lol at "big daddy"
Mon Sep 24, 2012 7:33 pm
That one girl was a bitch. The way she kept saying "WE ONLY OVERPOUR A LITTLE" made it pretty clear they were just giving shit away.

I hate the ones where it's too obvious that all they care about is getting new shit and the bar cleaned. The weird drinking/non bikers club thing was odd, don't think I've ever seen anything like that before. I did enjoy the bad ass at the end politely leaving the venue when asked by the bouncer. Also I'm fairly sure the "DJ" collects stamps in his spare time

So there's now a spin-off of this called Tattoo Rescue which is, quite shockingly, for tattoo shops.
Pretty much the same thing, though the guy certainly is different from Jon. Not really yelling at all. Has some of the analysis like 65% of the people in this area are blah blah blah. Doesn't just look at conditions but looks at staff, management, service issues. Like in this one their website domain name had expired, and the artists had shitty portfolios to show off their work.
Although the guy calls himself Joey Tattoo which is offensive and obscene and makes me want to burn an American flag at an embassy.
Apparently Spike is also going to do Tattoo Nightmares which is about fixing/covering up shitty tattoos.

lmao at all the "random" ass and tit shots in this episode.
The drinks being completely different was hilarious.
I knew Jon was going to lose his shit the instant the guy was laughing to the hidden cameras.
A sports bar where you can't watch any sports, brilliant!
lolololol at the girls freaking out over how gross shit was.
I loved when the dumb blonde explained the joke for the new name.
Way better concept than the sports bar Jon did last season.
Speaking of this:

The guy in this one basically admitted that was his goal. Seemed like he might want to get it going enough to sell it off.

Yeah that was by far the most obvious one I've seen. I'll have to check out the tattoo one, this season of bar rescue has been lacking a bit for some reason.
Mon Oct 08, 2012 10:21 pm
Didn't realize that last week was the season finale.
Apparently next season will be 20 episodes. (If they don't split it into two ten episode seasons.) It's supposed to be back before April.

my roommate's been addicted to this show and i watched the episode about the bikini bar in Orange. i used to work down the street from there and passed by it on the way home every day. it's an interesting show, and i hate all the whiny bar owners that don't like getting yelled at
Tue Feb 26, 2013 4:36 pm
Didn't realize this was already back, only watched the first one in New Orleans so far. That vomiting was so fake.
I'm starting to think they don't tell Jon the actual truth and he legitimately freaks out.
I loved the look on the owners faces as Jon went on and on with the (faux?) backstory for the building.
Going to wait to read up on the bars current status this season until after it ends. Will see how long that lasts.
Also, apparently there's a new spin-off: CAR LOT RESCUE. Will comment here if I watch. (Okay, when.)
Tue Feb 26, 2013 4:56 pm
omggg at Miscarriage
and the cockroach in the bottle lolololol
this owner is awesome, he looks like william dafoe; "this is austin!"
Wed Feb 27, 2013 12:09 pm
So CAR LOT RESCUE is exactly what you expect, only with Jon as a Texan in a cowboy hat, so it's awesome.
Wed Feb 27, 2013 1:13 pm
i liked the new orleans episode, the owner in the cockroach episode was a bigger prIck than most of the owners on the show. hope the employees did what's best for them
Mon Mar 04, 2013 11:18 pm
Rocket Room 6 is easily one of the worst names they've come up with for a re-brand
Wed Mar 13, 2013 4:40 pm
Liked this episode more than Rocket Room Sux. Name kinda sucks though and the nametags/outfits were weird. Near fight was fun and there were more stats and crap.
For some reason I want Smirnoff products.

Liked the security stuff this time, first time in a while if ever that I remember that being a big focus. (There was that ID stuff a few weeks ago, but that's a little different.)
lol at how little they were selling drinks. Also at the one server's name being Unique. (I initially thought the other one was named Paprika.)
omg at Jon's way to break up catfights.
Car Lot Rescue continues to be pretty stupid dumb, but I like it enough.
Wed Mar 20, 2013 12:37 pm
yeah focus on fake ids was nice.
and what are security guards supposed to do? carry bags of ice on them?
Wed Mar 20, 2013 2:46 pm
Just stick the towel in fridge/freezer behind the bar at the start of each shift.
Mon Mar 25, 2013 5:03 pm
lobster crane machine is awesome
lol wobbly bar
omg at the BEVINCO report
that "expert" bar guy was spilin crap all over
Mon Apr 15, 2013 6:01 pm
Comedy club was a great way to mix it up.
Owen Benjamin is A-list?
Brandy Beavers is my hero.
Tue Apr 16, 2013 6:23 am
i was getting really irritated by the owner. he was so clueless and idiotic. first of all, i wanted to smack those stupid glasses off his face. and then since he is a "comedy expert", he felt that people leaving angry or sad would ultimately bring them back. and then the laugh factory plug. if i was the guy from laugh factory and i saw this episode, there's no way in hell i would let his idiot keep the laugh factory name.
