I had a pretty decent game today also, because of the style.. It looked good and well it was pretty, though I was more like a.. Scoring guard today. Made 2 fingerrolls, one from a pick n roll, when I flew a long way with ball on my hand and the other one on the fast break with a crossover over the defender. Also scored one normal bucket from the paint and a three pointer. I had like 3 steals I guess, got 2 steals on a fast break as I stole the ball, they stole it back on the midcourt, I stole it back again and came up with an assist. Had like 2-4 rebounds though. We played with friends so nothing serious, just liked it. So I had 9 points, 3 steals, 3 rebounds or smth and like 4 assists I guess. 1 block too.

I've never been that good in official games, I was always holding back, and I've never really kept track of my (poor) stats anyway, but I do have two highlights to be sorta proud about, two passes actually.
The first one was an instinctive pass behind the back to a teamate during a fastbreak, who passed the ball back to me and I finished with a layup. Since I had a very "by-the-rule" kind of coach, I'm surprised I even made that move in the first place.
The second one was even bolder I guess, I always wanted to try that amazing Isiah Thomas fastbreak pass where he bounced the ball right in front of an opponent and it ends up being a alley-oop for Mark Aguirre I think. I pulled it off the same way and I was pretty happy about that.
It's funny how you realize how much you were not actually thinking when you're about to attempt this kind of move, everything's a blur and the instinct takes over (that and the NBA highlights you've seen in your childhood :wink:

my carrer high is 61. which i achieved just three weeks ago

our place had an inter-city basketball tournament, and me and some of my friends formed a small team, our ages were ranged from 15-18 (me being the youngest at 15) we won our first 3 games but we were blownout at the next three. i was pretty pissed at myself because 2 of those 3 loses were mostly my fault, so i talked to my teammates just before our seventh game and told them not to expect any passes from me and to just keep feeding me the ball. they knew well that i was the most explosive scorer on the team and they all agreed.

while the game was going on, i remembered our coach going crazy and shouting at me to pass the ball, fortunately, my plan was going along pretty well and we were still leading. but at the second quarter, the other players from the other team made it their task to crash down at me on defense every time i had the ball, so this got us down by 6 points (we were leading by 12 before the second quarter started) and i was subbed out. at the middle of the second, i pleaded to the coach to let me back in and told him all about my plan... he was a little hesitant at first but because he actually couldnt care less, he agreed and let me back in...

so long story short, i ended up with 61 points and the rest of the team had 19. our team won but it was very close. and i ended up shooting 25-49 from the field

I got 61 once too, on 11 treys and 14 twos.. However, that is in Thailand!! Most people here are not that good, and on that day the defense of the other team was non-existence.. So I guess that dropped it :mrgreen:

Besides, it wasn't a match, it was just an evening regular fun game where 10 people got together and play. :wink:

In a real match I wouldn't even be able to score 20 points :lol:

Also, 11 of the 12 twos problably came on fastbreak layup :roll:

But hey.. The Final Result was 33:32 in over time :mrgreen:

BUt it was really cool.. It was a Semi Final match in my city tournament.. I played with my school team... I was PG.. coz i love to make plays

But this game.. I think..

Didn't wont to score.. Our Center had only 2 points.. and the foward had 6 points.. Our opponets was up by 6 in the 4 quarter | we were playing 4 quarter x 8 min| And then i had 11 points at the start of 4th and i finished the 19 with a game tie shot.. at 0.50secc left to play.. Then i was really exited... Man.. it was my first game in overtime :shock:

When the OT start.. The opponet score a fast two baskets.. And i try a tree pointer in the left wing ( i am left handed shooter) but no good.. I even't don't tuched the rim :-x

.. But i moved fast on D and i made a Block :shock:

And then i made a leyup.. and they were up only by two.. ANd man.. My coach didn't take a Timeout ( i was :shock:

And just trow the ball.. It hit a deffender or something like that i don't remmeber it as a mess in the paint .. And finaly with big dose of luck the ball gose to my hand and i make a three point jump shot withh 0.6 to play.. Man the feeling was great..Lol :lol:

SOmething like Kobe on the buzzer with Suns :twisted:

I will remeber that game really long.
