In ECW they jump off of Balcony's through tables! They also throw people throw FLAMING Tables.

Jeff Hardy is like Softcore Porn. It just doesn't work.

First of all Jeff Hardy is not overrated. He is not the best wrestler, but people only like him because of his high flying manuvers. OSF this is an WWE Forum not ECW. The Dudley, Hardy Boyz and Edge & Christian matches were amazing, that was ECW style.

actually this is a thread to advertise koberulz's forum. so what if people like jeff for his high flying? we're saying that there are a whole lot of better high flyers than him. and all those TLC matches were probably too tame for ECW (flaming tables? cheese graters to slash the forehead?). and ECW was too tame compared to a lot of lesser known hardcore feds especially those in Japan.

Like Null said, there are better high flyers than Jeff Hardy. He was waived for a reason.

Why talk about ECW? Ummm...because more than 50% of the current superstars on the WWE roster were once included in the EVW roster.

As for Kidman, ugh!

Its not only me but whoever i ask they always saw Jeff was the best at high flying stunts. There are better high flyers then his now, but 2-3 years ago Jeff pwned everyone. And i think 50% of the current WWE roster were included in WCW, so why shouldnt we talk about WCW now.

I never watched ECW so I can't comment on ECW. I only watched WWF (and then WWE). I stopped watching it after they had the draft and the rosters for Smackdown and Raw. That was just stupid.

that's coz everyone you know probably don't know anyone else...why shouldn't we talk about wcw? hell even the wwe talks about ecw and wcw now that they own both products. hell they even mentioned Ring of Honor in the recent Matt Hardy-Edge angle

Irrelevant. Judging from your intelligence, you may have misunderstood those people.

There are better high flyers then his now, but 2-3 years ago Jeff pwned everyone.

Ignorant. You obviously failed to watch ECW in its prime.

And i think 50% of the current WWE roster were included in WCW, so why shouldnt we talk about WCW now.

Dont talk about something you know nothing about. You do know that most ECW superstars were once WCW superstars(Austin and co.)?

I never watched ECW so I can't comment on ECW.

Hardcore wrestling at its best. That's ECW.

yeah channel Z dont want to miss it especially during midnight

OMG. I cant believe someone watches channel Z   [/quote]

The ECW was a two-bit organisation that gained infamy by making average wrestlers do stupid things. It was basically the Jackass of wrestling in it's day. I can't believe I even paid to watch some of their shows... and I don't mean in the RVD/Rhino days that most people seem to have seen it, I'm talking about The Tazmaniac, New Jack etc. The camera work was horrific, the in-ring interviews were terrible and every match was very much the same. I really don't know how people get off on seeing blood in a wrestling match.

That being said, I did like some of the ECW wrestlers who jumped ship. At least it's fashionable to like ECW now I guess.

I've never seen ECW either (I'm buying the DVD from the exclusive PPV held last month), but I've seen stuff on the internet.

New Jack was the most gangsta wrestler ever, coming out to Dr. Dre and Ice Cube's "Natural Born Killaz", with a Shopping Cart full of all kinds of shit, and stapling dumbfucks with his Staple Gun.

That's Gangsta.

while that's partly true (even they admit it esp. sandman). they also had a lot of good technical wrestlers and they started the high flying lucha craze. and I wouldn't consider taz to be an average wrestler. he actually knew more moves than most of the big talentless guys that wwe has now...

I wasn't meaning Taz, I just meant back in those days... mid 90's and such. RVD was my all time favourite wrestler, so there are some guys from the ECW that I like alot.

so not Tazz...just Tazmaniac then

oh yeah, it's fashionable to like ECW now of the PPV that just happened I guess. they were portrayed as the "good guys" so the PPV will get more publicity

Nah I thought he was awesome. I was so psyched when he signed with the WWF, and now I'm just annoyed about it. What a waste of talent. His debut was fantastic too, with all of the teasers and whatever then to see him as the "mystery opponent" giving the Tazmission... even if he is 4'8, still kicks ass.
