i play good defense the whole game, and i contested pretty much every shot the pacers had to show up but peja managed to still torch me behind the arc with 2 defenders on him. what a crock of shit, i just want to curb stomp the fucking game sometimes.

because i generally don't adjust my 2k sliders, only my live sliders, but i don't play live anymore. i've had the series since 2k2 and the AI has never been a problem until this year. plus, defense or faltering down the stretch is never a problem for good teams, but if you use the teams like the raptors, hawks, or any team that is under 75 in defense for that matter, the AI will find a way to come back and win. it might sound like a bitch excuse from a loser, but it's true.

then maybe you should change the sliders... I'm fairly sure your game won't eject itself from your Xbox and run off down the street crying because you adjusted a few settings for the first time.

i think i have a disorder, or lack thereof when it comes to videogames. i hate adjusting sliders (myself) not because i'm lazy, but because if i win a game i have the mentality that i gave myself the victory by screwing over the CPU. i think if the sliders came from someone else i wouldn't care as much. it's like when live 2003 came out, i only used andrew's sliders and not anyone elses.

That's the thing, play some exhibition games against a few teams... like 2 games against Detroit/San Antonio, 2 games against middle of the road teams and 2 against the shit teams. You make slider adjustments throughout and eventually you'll find you'll have great settings... it might take a while but it does work. I mean on ESPN 2K5 I had to play San Antonio like 5 times before I had Duncan dominating inside, as opposed to Tony Parker scoring 40 odd lol.

jae you should get 2k6, play against doobie and myself online. i think there might be several other people who have xbox live too. we could set up a league or something

This game kinda bores me more than Live. I can't bring myself to play 2 games in a row. Some things piss me off like the lack of edit player features. You still can't change positions or numbers for guys, so the CPU benches Steve Francis(well, it's kinda realistic in that aspect) because it's stupid. Ryan Gomes is permanately stuck at Sf for the Celtics. In "The Association" the CPU always goes on a signing spree and they always signe the same free agents. The Sixers keep signing Sprewell and AI is set as a SG in the game, so it reorders the depth chart to:
PG-Salmons(yea, he's a pg in the game) or Louis Williams
SG-Iverson
SF-Korver
PF-Webber
C-Dalembert

Spree comes off of the bench and Iguodala hardly ever gets PT. Also for some reason Smush Parker's head is as big as hell.

But I think I'd take Live over it, with all the patches and stuff we do here. Live+a revised AIACT+cyberface/sweat/jersey patches+improved lighting=a much better game than EA ever made. But 2k6 is pretty nice I'll admit. I have it for PS2 because Live looked like shit on it.

The only thing I know is that every NBA2K game that I bought makes me hate more the Live series, more and more and more. I'm playing NBA2K6 with my friends recently and we all love it, it's really realistic and has infinite game modes. It's the best basketball game ever, for sure. I have the PS2 version because here in Europe the 360 version is released... they say in April, but they delayed it like 5 times in 5 months.

I think it's the best basketball game, and it would be perfect with few fixes, making it more customizable.

is there any where you can download the songs from? they are mad as!!

look for the song names and then use bearshare or something.. i havent tried it but i assume that works
