yeah i don't like games that aren't that fun to play over after you've unlocked everything. it's a good incentive to keep playing, but you don't really get to enjoy it if you stop playing after you unlock it.

I've mentioned it before but that was one of my biggest gripes with the unlockables in SD: Shut Your Mouth! on the PS2. You could only unlock items by winning PPV matches and there were five or six items to unlock at each event, so you'd have to play the hell out of the career/story mode to get everything...by which point you don't really want to play it anymore. I guess the idea is that you take a break and then come back to it or the unlockables are just so awesome that you keep playing despite having logged hours and hours with it already but by then the new game might be out or you're just that over it.

So yeah, well worth having Unlock Everything DLC or a code that does the same.

How is the Season mode? Is it terrible as last year? Last year, it was about championships only.

WWE Universe takes the place of Career/Season Mode this year. It's alright, it's kind of innovative how they've made it tie into everything outside Road to Wrestlemania and included different scenarios but those scenarios are played out a bit too often when you're playing WWE Universe scheduled matches; too many run-ins, getting jumped before the bell and other such situations. A few more options to switch things off (instead of completely shutting off WWE Universe mode and turning it back on again) or toggle frequency would be handy.

Great. I was playing with Chris Jericho at Svr 10, and it was only about championships.

3 weeks later.........PS2 version, while I had it, its a very good wrestling game. It does have Universe and the graphics are good but bad but it doesn't have the new physics engine like my new copy of the PS3 version.

Seriously, I wish I could make every match a TLC match but have it end by pin. I've just been doing 4 way TLC's and making sure all the weapons are in the ring and the CPU gets very entertaining. They actually turn their moves to throw people onto stuff.....awesome.

I also downloaded nearly 40 TNA CAWs and a handful of Legends and moved everyone from Smackdown to Raw and gave TNA Smackdown. It's been fun so far.
Opinions are my own.

Great. What about legends? Which one gets unlocked in which RTW? Example: RVD at Christian, Rock at Y2J etc.

WWE RAW (2002, PC Game)

Postby Murat on Sun Dec 05, 2010 3:10 am

I think everyone knows WWE RAW as well (oh sorry WWF RAW, changed due to license rights?) that it's released at 2002. It included various superstars of 2002 like The Rock, Kurt Angle, Undertaker, Steve Austin etc. Not in that side. In 2009, a modder team released a mod called WWE Raw Ultimate Impact, which updates everything. I wanted to patch for this game too, and got an arena of WWE RAW from there:
http://rawiswar.weebly.com/wwe-pc-mods.html

I got the RAW HD arena one from there, and patched it to SmackDown (didn't edit the original one, just copied RAW HD folder and edited the folder name as SmackDown HD). Then I found an ECW arena, and here they go:

DOWNLOAD ECW, RAW and SmackDown! arenas

You need to use XpkIMG to import them.

I own this, got it when I somehow failed to get No Mercy working on an emulator......but after I played it I went back and got No Mercy working in an emulator, lol.

It always looks better than it plays IMO, I'd rather just stick with SvR 2011 with the physics they introduced this year.

That's the right point. SvR games - way better than this. It includes a lot of mods, even WWE RAW had only 1 arena (and that is of course RAW, it is :turrible: , why didn't they include SmackDown!) It was also converted from XBOX version. Even I heard that people made a lot of mods like WWE RAW UI (2009, including JTG, Hornswoggle, Kevin Thorn, Charlie Haas etc. :facepalm2) and WWE RAW ??? (2007, includes guys like Sabu, Bobby Lashley, Johnny Nitro).

Also I'm planning to take shots from game if I can, if they work I'll make more of them.

Off-topic: What I ever wanted to get was an XBOX 360, but at there only a bunch of people know XBOX 360. It's all about PS3 (mostly PS2). WWF RAW was not including events like Royal Rumble, TLC. If I'd get an XBOX 360, I would play WWF RAW, WWE RAW 2 and SvR 11. PS3 is also great (I'd play SD! SYM, not SvR).

I've never played the full version but I did play the demo some time back. It's got nothing on the Smackdown games.

Going back on-topic though, they could have followed this game up on the PC. I read somewhere before that SvR 2006 was supposed to have a PC release.

Anyone else unlocked things that don't show up? There's no sign of Van Dam, Bearer, or McMahon on the wrestler select screen for me, even though I unlocked them.

No issues here. Bearer doesn't show up but as far as I'm aware he can only be selected as a manager.

Yeah, he'd be the same as Hornswoggle. Tried adding a manager, he didn't show up. They're not showing up under My WWE either. Have you unlocked anyone manually, or did you just download the Unlock All thingo? I've been holding off on that purchase, at least until I can get through all the RTWMs, so they're all manual unlocks. Goldust, Tatsu and Ryder all show up, though. I can't even remember what others I may or may not have unlocked.

I unlocked a few things manually and they did show up as normal, but most of them I unlocked with the DLC.

Just downloaded the unlock all thing, as well as the first DLC pack...everything that was locked before is still locked, Chris Masters is still the only downloaded wrestler available. What the fuck?

EDIT: Rebooted, it's all there now. Weird.

I did actually have a bit of trouble with the first DLC pack, the one with Lex Luger, British Bulldog, some alternate costumes etc. I bought the Fan Axxess pack so it was free for me to download as soon as it became available, but the content wasn't showing up even after I restarted the game. I had to go ahead and manually download the items from the pack individually for the game to actually recognise that they were all on my hard drive. A bit fiddly, it kind of defeats getting the DLC from within the game when you have to exit the game anyway for it to be loaded, but it's all working now.
