And hopefully a full compliment of Alien Blasters for repairs and spares. :headbang:

Though those will be quite tough to go up against.

I won't be surprised to see an Alien Minigun.

zanshadow, his character is an assault-specific character. Has all Critical Damage perks in it.

Yeah some additional tech would be nice but even if it's just the blasters it'll be worth it to stock up on the ammo and get extra blasters for repairs and spares.

Approaching Level 29, only Broken Steel quests remaining and every skill but Melee and Unarmed maxed out. At some point I'll have to collect all the steel ingots but right now I don't have the patience, though the extra DLC will no doubt keep feeding the addiction a while longer. I am starting to get over it a little though.

Finally...all marked quests completed including Broken Steel, Level 30, all skills maxed out and with the Almost Perfect perk, all S.P.E.C.I.A.L attributes are at 9 except Strength which I'd already boosted to 10 with the Bobblehead and the Ant Might perk. I've left a couple of saves at Level 29 so I can get the XBL Achievements for neutral and bad karma and I've still got to collect all the Steel Ingots in the Pitt at some point but I've finally been able to put it aside...until the new DLC comes out.

Point Lookout trailer:

phpBB [video]

Looks a bit different. What they really need to do with one of these final add-ons is add the option to hear the ka-ching sound effect when you do something that would normally net you XP after you've hit the maximum Level. Obviously it shouldn't grant you any more XP as there's no point, but I miss the sound effect. ;)

Or raise the cap level to 50 so I can really take advantage of my maxed out character.

I wonder how they put this in-game in the Capital Wasteland.

From what I understand, you're supposed to take a ferry to get to that island (I would assume not far from Rivet City), so it's not actually part of the existing wasteland.

Wow that was a perfect extension for areas.

I got myself to re-play the game again and I just finished Moira's long fucking quest and made it to level 7 because of it. I didn't sell the book (for .5 caps?), though I placed it on a desk in the Megaton house. I'm such a charmer.

Hahaha. Good times. I hated Moira's Quest too. It's sorta like tutorial guide. Cool pics though. I'm getting my vid card tomorrow(Hopely!!!) so I will finally get to install this game.

Hey Lean, which house theme did you buy to decorate your house? Post a pic next time.

Sure thing, I was never this addicted to Fallout 3.

I don't have the caps to buy a theme for the Megaton shack, and I uhh, arrange stuff on my own.

(yes I know I need to get them Bobbleheads)

The Winterized T-51b Power Armor and Helmet awkwardly placed on the shelf. I decided to move the thing by grabbing it, and it's a waste of precious time.

Random fun. Level 11 after I picked the Here and Now perk and after finishing Operation Anchorage. I finally got the Chinese Stealth Armor.

Oh no, not Here and Now. Waste of a perk, my friend!

Downloaded Point Lookout, finished it, Fallout 3 has been put aside until Zeta comes out (lest I get addicted again) but it was definitely a lot of fun. Good story in the quests, plenty of looting, a lot I'll check out again some other time and the atmosphere is great. I won't give too much way, but at one point there is a fantastic hallucination sequence that's very entertaining with a helping of tongue-in-cheek humour.

Nah it's just a quick re-playthrough that's why I got it checked. I'm supposed to max-out the rank of the Thief perk but I got the Sneak skill maxed and the Lockpick skill near max.

Fair enough. :) I was actually tempted to take it a couple of times but ended up hitting Level 30 quicker than I thought, already maxed out by Level 29. It's probably not a bad idea if there's absolutely nothing else you care to take for your character, especially if you want to level up quickly. I ended up taking a couple of "flavour" perks with my character, simply because I knew I'd be upping my S.P.E.C.I.A.Ls to 9 with the Almost Perfect perk at Level 30 and things like Computer Whiz and Infiltrator are pretty useless given the way the lockpick and hacking mini-games work.

Just made it to GNR. And just downloaded Point Lookout. Will test it later. :)

Funny that I left the PipBoy radio on and tuned it in to GNR as my character was talking to Three-Dog. Broadcasts are taped!
