Boxing Day (here in Canada) is the day right after Christmas, its a day where mostly everything in malls or stores like Walkmart, Futureshop, Bestbuy, EBGames and so on have a major sale or most thigns go on sale. Mostly electronics go on sale. My 20GB MP3 Player was 299$ normally w/o tax, but today, on boxing day, it was 240$ w/o tax.

I believe Boxing Day was also originally the day Christmas presents were opened, at least in some countries.

Yeah thats what it is, i think the 'boxing' part is because they would put the presents into boxes and put them away

I got the box set for the Matrix (Matrix, Matrix Reloaded, Matrix Revolutions, Animatrix, and the Matrix Experience - 10 DVDs) all for $45 Cdn ($38.25 US) on Boxing Day
