Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

What was it like having 348 people on at the same time?
Sat Jul 23, 2005 1:54 pm
LOL, good question! i dont think i was on at the time, but i am betting it was probably around the release date of an nba live edition
edit: my bad, i just looked at the date of it and it looks like it would be closer to trade deadline day.

I don't think it wasn't just exciting because that doesn't mean they were on the forum. Having 348 on the forum at the same time would be amazing, but they are about a 100 people online from the boards all the time.

Lol wtf sbhzmafia? be good speak english yes.

I reckon 200 of them were probably Guests. Having shitloads of people browsing doesn't necessarily make the forums ultra active though... when "I cannot believe my starting 5..." was nearing the 1,000th post, everytime you refreshed that thread there were 5 or 6 new replies in the space of about 30 seconds.

Wow just as much replies as CoolMacs story threads...

But to be fair, that was mostly Matt and Stevan posting 5 or 6 times in a row.

That's true, I remember Matt admitting that he had the same window open about 4 times so he could reply as quickly as possible.

Well I know I added a couple of words in the sentence
but its not one of the worse sentences you would see on NLSC.

The importance of being a NLSC veteran in this forum cracks me up everytime
Mon Jul 25, 2005 9:34 pm
I don't think he was really aiming for the importance of it, I think he was more trying to figure out if he qualified to answer this question.

The most succesfull Slovenian forum (
www.joker.si/mnenjalnik) had 456 active users at one moment. The difference between this and Joker's forum is that they have constantly a lot of active users - while I'm writing this there are 139 registered users online (300 overall). Imagine if we reached these numbers. That would be anarchy.
Mon Jul 25, 2005 9:45 pm
That's nothing, Dotorg amazingly had 665 users online a few days after the NLSC hit 300 something.
Coincidence?
