PS3 price and Xbox 360 games...

I read over at IGN that the PS3 is going to be under 456 dollars. Ouch!

Also read that Xbox 360 games will come out at 60 dollars a game instead of 50 being the most. Ouch again!

I guess this means ill be playing the waiting game, waiting for the prices to drop before i buy a system and games.

60 dollars per game is really expensive. That means I'd have to be picky for everygame I buy.

I heard the PS3 will be like $299 or $349. 400 dollars is just crazy. As for the games, it wouldn't really matter to me because I will be working at Blockbuster this summer and I know the managers so I can get the games free if I want and since I'm going to have my job, I'll just buy the games. It's not like I have to ask my parents no more for the money because then I'll be complaining.

For Christ's sake, a new PS2 game sells for €59.99 over here. That's more than $60 already, so that means we'll probably end up paying €69.99 now.

I personally don't think very many games are worth 60 dollars. Anyways, how much is it going to cost them to make a disc with data on it? It could not of raised 10 dollars They are just trying to get another 10 dollars out of us, that's all.

Still, they make so much money off of us. I still don't see why they are going to charge another 10 dollars. They have such a large profit margin with the 50 dollar games now.

when systems first come out the games tend to be $10-$30 AUD more than what they will end up with....same as other system requirements....

over here, PS2 games brand new are like $90-$100 AUD, which equates to about $65-75 US....I think PS3 will be $110-130 meaning $85-100 US....they will come down though but it will take time....

it kinda sucks, PS2 NBA Live which sucks is $100 AUD brand new and on PC which is better is $55-60 AUD brand new....good old PC games

My understanding is Microsoft's XNA is supposed to keep cost down for developing next gen titles, though I am under the impression that EA still wants to raise the price tag on it's games to $60, but if the 360 can keep production cost of games down $10 below that of PS3, then I will most likely go with 360. Though, I always wait for prices to drop on games, except Live. I'm more intrigue with the 360 anyway, especially after hearing good reviews after their bad showing at the E3 press conference. Those who got with them after the press release had great things to say, just had a terrible Press Conference and MTV showing.

In canada the games are alreday 60 bucks. Then i realised 60 thats 60 bucks canadian. So i said, aww dang.
