well since the NHL season didn't exist this year and there is no draft does that mean there will be no difference in the rating of players for 2006 nhl games?

No idea. Could well be, but the ratings will hardly matter if the game plays like 2005. It all looked okay, until I realized that the computer cannot score against me on the hardest level. If you give them space on the offence they will skate to the goal with the puck, and not shoot, but give the puck to the goalie. That was it for me, no more NHL!
