NBAlive.org down AGAIN!

(right forum?)

.org has had it's troubles. The site seems to be up, yet NO preview links work and NO download links work. I suggest a different service provider for them. I know it's easier said then done, but the less downtime the better. I don't know about you guys, but I am pissed at their provider for giving such shitty service. I love .org and spend alot of my time there. This is NOT .org's fault, and I am not saying that it is. I don't really know who I'm complaining to, but it is NOT the people over at .org, that is for sure. Is there any way I can help .org?

the site is not "down". only the patch subdomain gets automatically disabled when there's a bandwidth overload.

Thanks for the welcome back James.. .. and thanks everyone who is happy that nbalive.org is back. As has been explained in the nbalive.org forums many times.. we have bandwidth limits atm for each month. Once we reach that bandwidth limit the site goes down. We have put advertisements on the site now to raise money that can buy more bandwidth. At the moment to keep the site up as long as possible for this month we have limited the downloads than can be done every 6 hours. After 6 hours the limit resets and downloads are alowed again. I suggest you do what the message says and "try again later". Not 5 minutes later. But maybe a couple of hours. Looking at the stats our current 6 hour limit runs out after about 4 hours. So there are 2 hours every 6 hours that downloads are not available (that make sense?).. Sorry but we have to do this. If we had no limits the site would only be up for about 15 days. .. As it is I am trying to manage having the downloads available for as long as possible while also keeping the site up as long as possible. Hopefully in a few months we will have raised some money from the advertising and will be able to open up the downloads without restriction. We need people to support the site for this to happen though. So far the support has been great and things are looking good.. .. Thanks everyone..

no need to address this on this forum at all, when dotorg's is just as functional at this time.
