I just installed Awakening and thought it didn't work unitl I saw the "Other Campaigns" option in the menu.

I'm gonna go over at DA:O again and continue my save after completing Return to Ostagar (DLC items that are equipped seems to be transferable to Awakening, IGN said that not all items can be transferred from the main campaign to Awakening).

:(

There's a tough High Dragon boss fight ahead and I cannot advance yet. Stupid BioWare difficulty.

Nah don't want to. I'd still intend to finish it on normal difficulty.

The expansion is surprisingly easy -- save for that High Dragon towards the end. I think I have to do another playthrough.

Re: Dragon Age Thread (Origins, Awakening) DA2 Announced!

Sorry for posting this again, I'm just surprised the sequel is out this quick:

 Dragon Age II subsite on DragonAge.com.

Seems that the new game would be like Mass Effect wherein the character is already "fixed" in some ways. He's named Hawke; and the game is said to span 10 years in-story with decisions affecting the outcome of it.

I have a feeling that this would be like Mass Effect on the Dragon Age universe.

Well uhh, if you're still interested:

Dragon Age: Origin's last DLC involves the story arc about Morrigan's disappearance. Seems like she won't be in DA II anymore. :(

Seems like there is a group of modders recreating Baldur's Gate II using Dragon Age: Origins as the base.

I think it's an on-going project still posted on the Bioware forums. This is a must if they happen to finish it.
