I got the bundle for 7.49 during the holiday sale for somebody who already had it. So, if anyone would like Max Payne 1 and 2 for free, let me know.

Have you tried the Max Payne demo? That's and old demo and I am not sure if it would work on newer systems. I don't want to give the games to someone who wouldn't like them. Max Payne 3 doesn't look too different other than the physics, graphics and that he is old, bald, and fat. Although, I have yet to come across somebody who didn't like the first two. If you like the demo, they are yours.

I'm actually playing the first one and already on Chapter 2 but I don't mind owning and repeating the game again. I don't have Max Payne 2 though so yeah.

Maybe if I finish the first two games I will change my mind about Max Payne 3.

Fucking 29 GB to download though, I guess they omitted to compress their textures in this game...I'm not even 1/4 done right now.

Grabbed Max Payne 3. Clunky controls, even with mouse acceleration off and sensitivity at its lowest. Sound isn't very good, I keep getting shot by enemies I can't see or hear. I hate the camera view. Graphics are great, gameplay is intense. Story is good so far.

The installed size of Max Payne 3 is due to the no-compromise quality of its assets, which already push console disc space to the limits. A good portion of the extra space requirements on PC can be attributed to the increased size of the textures, which are four times the size of those on consoles. In addition, the audio quality is significantly higher than the consoles due to lower compression rates, which improves audio fidelity.

I have no complaints, make sure you press right click to aim tighter/slower, but it's refreshing to play a PC shooter that doesn't have you twitch around 1:1 with the mouse. Sound issues? Comes through clear and amazing for me. Havent tried it, but there is a change camera button, but some of the campaign does seem a bit trial and error, which I like (I LIKE TRIALS)

Change camera puts Max to the left or the right. Only audio issue is not being able to hear footsteps. I'm progressing, it's just annoying.

Can anybody get passed the part with the condemned building? The part is where it is blowing up. I can't kill the armored assault soldier on the roof. Even a shotgun has no physical effect on him like staggering or anything. I usually jump back towards the fence and take out the 3 soldiers before him but then I am warped up to the building after the cutscene with the machine gunner on top of me, and even blind firing gets me killed.

Anyone try multiplayer yet?

I've been playing multiplayer, having a lot of fun with it after adjusting to the fast pace and quick deaths. If you do deathmatch (no teams) prepare for fun spawns, I hesitate to call them crappy/bad spawns since people can move around so quickly. I have yet to see anyone spawn directly in front of me, but you can tell when you round a corner that someone isn't ready yet.

Uzi/Pistol combo is deadly

oh, and the Bursts. Learn how to use those. LShift to activate them (the three tier thing on the bottom right), so level one two three bursts. One of the lvl 3 ones gives you a grenade launcher, which gets insane quickly. Once you figure that system out the whole online and searching dead bodies thing makes a lot more sense
