I just bought their album (been out 1 month already) and i think that this album is just as good as elephunk imo. does anyone else agree?

i dont really know what kind of music the BEP are... are they a mix between hip hop, pop, or maybe even reggae/dance? i usually listen/hear them, and like them while dancing though. and i agree, the DPWMH vid is pretty funny

I cant believe how some people classify Black Eyed Peas in the class of The Fugees & The Roots etc. Their mainstream hip hop and have become ever so pop sounding as the songs keep coming.

The only song I liked from them was the one which had Macy Gray on it, other than that their really not on my box or player.

If Fergie is in the video and I have the TV muted, BEP are awesome. I hate the music though. The lead guy is the most retarded person in the word when you hear him outside of his songs. In interviews and on other shows and stuff, he tries to act gangster. It definitely doesn't work.

I used to really dig them, especially the Weekends single + the remix of it (sort of the pre-over-media-exposed-pop BEP sound). Although ever since the media jumped on the 'Wheres the Love' bandwagon, they haven't been the same. They got a taste of the Hollywood money and fame, and went mainstream "hiphop" (:wink:) like crazy.

And I agree, they're no where near the same level as the Roots and the Fugees.
