need help with the prick that is Windows Movie Maker

ok. 2 problems.

1) when i got to preview the video, theres nothing there.

2) it wont let me save. it says theres an error and to check the files havent moved, that the location specified to save in still exists and that i have enough room on my HD. i have none of these problems, yet it still wont save and says that. the only time it saves is when i just save audio, no video, effects or anything. its just a prick.

please help.

and btw, does anyone know where i could get an exe file of movie maker 2.1, other than the windows update site?

movie maker, I feel sorry for you. Try and 'obtain' a copy of adobe premiere. It does the trick.

I use Movie Maker, I made good hoops videos that I wouldn't mind uploading to show you all. But I dunno.

now im trying to update to 2.1 hoping that will solve the problem, but after turning on automatic updates as the site said to, it wont ask me to upgrade to 2.1. any one know how i can get it to upgrade to movie maker 2.1?

the movie maker sucks i would also recoment adobe premiere. most adobe products are awesome.

coolmac, yeah i tried and doesnt work. also, ive now noticed i cant uninstall it and go back to normal movie maker, so im fucked.

when i mean reinstall, it's like repairing the windows xp installation
