Rajon Rondo and George Karl? 'It's not been going too well'

The Kings point guard says he and his new head coach have had a few bumps in the road in their first season together.

Rajon Rondo and George Karl apparently already left the honeymoon stage.

The Kings point guard says he and his new head coach have had a few bumps in the road in their first preseason together.

“It’s not been going too well,” Rondo told Cowbell Kingdom. “We’ve gotten into some arguments in the last couple days. Hopefully we continue to talk and get better.”

Both have reputations for being difficult and butting heads with other people. Throw in the DeMarcus Cousins drama, and the Kings could be in for an entertaining season...for all the wrong reasons.

Just an overreaction. Rondo trolling a new reporter.

Discouraging to hear this. But to be honest, I think Rondo's done as a player. It's been too long since he played good. I doubt he can get back to his old form. So at this point, you have reasons to believe Darren Collison is a better player. He has played really well since coming to the Kings especially before last year's injury. And he's again playing well in preseason. I was thinking Darren Collison might be able to take over Rondo's starting job or play alongside him quite often by mid season.

To be clear, like I said, if I was Divac, I'd fire George Karl in this case. DeMarcus Cousins and Rajon Rondo don't like him.
