I know I am always considered negative, but watching this stiff makes me wonder how the heck he stays in the NBA.

Sorry if someone is a fan of this "player".

I have been watching him close during the Lakers game, obviously because he is big Toronto decided to give him a try against Shaq.

I must tell you, this dude reaks, not just Shaq dunking left and right on him, but his setshot, his standing around and his complete lack of knowledge and athletic ability.

Size is not this important.

Bateer was born in a predominantly Mongolian province in China. So he is Chinese but his name I believe is Mongolian. No need to give Shep so much heat, even though I am Chinese I asked the exact same question when I first heard of the name. It's weird to even most Chinese.

And what's more weird and puzzling is the fact that he is actually playing in the NBA.

Only reason I gave heat is because it's a weird question, it's the guys' name...let it be.

According to me, neither this comment (in this thread) nor the comment in the other thread have anything to do with the discussion. It would only lead to sumthing like 20 users posting "what a fuck up name"...(We all know who we're talking bout here, right?)

Point is, it's his name, can't do anything about it. The purpose of the comment (to me) was not asking the origen of the name, to me it came off more as mocking..."what kind of name is menke anyway"...
