I am not trying to be a jerk or be arrogant about Pierce, I was just happy to see him there. To read the article about him, how he came from the rough streets of LA, how Magic Johnson took him under his wing and taught him some things.

I have SLAM's premiere issue and they did this article on a basketball program for kid's in the city and I noticed that there was a picture of Paul Pierce, at age 16, before he was even known or went to Kansas.
