I think the poll refers to how they were overlooked the year they entered the draft (and subsequently went undrafted).

I reakon most overlooked player would be Earl Boykins because he was overlooked because of his size and it took 4-5 years until he got onto a Team's frequent rotaion!

wow I could never picture ben wallace as a shooting guard.
That would be very poor coaching and managerial decisions made if ben was a shooting guard.

Yeah Big Ben is actually about 6'7. Him at Sg is a funny thought however. I remember Slam had an article on him and they talks about it

Most overlooked undrafted PLayer?

So that player doesn't have to be in the NBA?
Me

I agree, Big Ben is the best undrafted player, all those defense guys like Bruce Bowen and Ben Wallace are making teams that didn't draft them kick themselves now.

Maybe, he is more a PF in size mathers, but he is strong enought to defend Centers.
Iglauskas ain't got shit on Big Ben! Iglauskas does more points than Big Ben, but thats all

so is karl malone...would u call him a center?

numbers ilgauskas would be getting if he got wallace's minutes: 22.6p, 9.9r, 2.1a, .91s, 2.47b.

Karl Malone doesn't block 3.15 a game + Ben Wallace is more smooth.
And Iglauskas don't grab 15 ½ rebounds a game.
Iglauskas dosen't defense can't even be compared to Big Ben.

Big Ben got the Defensive player of the year second time in a row, what have Ilgauskas got?

+

Wallace is more important to his team than Ilgauskas.
If Pistons didn't have Ben Wallace they would not make the playoffs.

if the cavs didnt have ilgauskas, their record last year would have been more like 5-77 or something, u guys start comparing teams when its about players, thats not the question here  , though i agree wallace is better then ilgauskas imho, ilgauskas is definately as important to the cavs, any good big man is, wallace just happens to have better players around him then wallace does. But in a way Big Ben might be more important cuz defense wins games and he is pretty much the whole defense in detroit so i agree on the fact they would have trouble reaching the playoffs without him, but Ilgauskas offence shouldnt be underestimated cuz a legitimate scoring threat in the post could be a crucial factor in winning or losing a championship(i know i can contradict myself at times but u just gonna have to live with that)

he can't guard ilgauskas: ilgauskas averaged 20.3 points against the pistons last year in only 32 minutes

Yeah, I know he is a great scorer (though someone said that he only scored in the last minuts of the game when it didn't matter anyway) but
his scoring abilitys dosen't match Bens defensive abilitys

if wallace is as good as you say he is defensively, then why couldn't he hold ilgauskas to less then his average?
