I'm not 100% sure on the point you're trying to make, no disrespect of course. I think what you're trying to say is that European players are comming in much younger than previously, so how are they going to have superior fundamentals? I can see your point, and though Peja came out a little older than some of the other guys, you still have a guy like Dirk who was drafted at what, 19 years of age?
Most of these European guys that make it to the NBA play pro-ball in their mid teens, so that's where the fundamentals are going to come from.
I keep seeing in every second thread "Darko is going to be a bust", but you know what man, scouts raved about him for a reason, he has the work ethic, has played pro-ball since his teens and in his last three preseason games played 14, 10 and 9 minutes!!! So I think these guys are going to have [/i]some[i] fundamentals, maybe not great, but probably better then the average 18 year old. Of course every person is different, but so long as there are Euros playing pro-ball at 14 and 15 years of age, they are going to be solid in certain areas.
Probably not with setting screens and grabbing boards though
