Vince Carter

Well, it's nearing my second round pick in a fantasy basketball league and I already have Shaq. For the second round I was thinking Ben Wallace or Shawn Marion but I also think Vince Carter would be a good pick if he's healthy, so do you guys think Vince Carter would be a good pick for me or should I choose someone else?

Yeah, Vince wouldnt be a bad choice. Wallace would be nice choice too though, but go with Vince. (Y)

if he's healthy and he drives to the lane he could be the top 10 player in game...so if itz a risk u are willing to take...then take him he could be back again..

Ya, VC is a good player if he's back, but don't u think the Matrix might be a better addition? Unless ofcourse ur playing head to head.
But if ur not, Matrix gets ur points, reb. the same amount of assists, more steals and blocks, and prolly less turnovers.

VC killed me last year, i would stay away from him. i'd pick someone like Elton Brand, Jamal Mashburn, Ben Wallace, or Steve Francis.

I'd stay away from him too. He has a better chance of injury now that its happened once.

thats not the point of this topic.

I would go with Ben Wallace....

why? cause VC is still a questionmark (???), he may come back, or get injured once again. Meanwhile Ben Wallace dominated the League in Defense, rebounds, blocks.......aka the dirtywork, thats a big factor of this game to. He can dominate a game without beeing a highlight on the stats list.

Thanks guys, I decided to take Marion.

And through a few trades I ended up with some pretty good guys like Shaq, Tracy McGrady, Shawn Marion and Stephon Marbury.
