 Drafted Milicic, big men are important in the game of basketball these days, Det has Williamson and Prince at the SF, no need for another SF in Anthony, Detroit picked Milicic cuz he has tons of potential, young big men with potential are hard to come by these days, in that aspect they made the right desiscion, and in the second aspect which is to strengthen up their front court in the near future, Detroit made the right choice.
They know what they are doing. (Y)

Agreed. In Denver, Melo has a chance to become "the man" much earlier. The Pistons don't need "the man", they needed a talented young big man to complement Wallace. Darko could be that talented young big man.

i'd probably draft Milicic...but i'd try to convince him to stay oversea for a couple more seasoning...after all this roster is full of Big men...Memo,Campelle,Wallace....and developing at overseas is better even though he's very good...he still needs to upgrade his game a little more...and after few years he might be ready and contribute instantly and become the team's leader...
