There's topics about the best and favourite players in the NBA but who's your least favourite players?

Mine are: Ron Artest, Antoine Walker, Ron Artest, Ron Artest, Keith Van Horn, Ron Artest, Darius Miles, and Ron Artest. And oh yeah, almost forgot to mention Ron Artest.

Vlade Divac and Chris Webber, both are 2 overgrown babies, Webb can play ball dont get me wrong, but the guy is a sissy, whining about any and every call against him. Divac is a natural born flopper.

Karl Malone: I acknowledge his greatness, but I've just never cared for him. If I had to assemble a team of the all the greats in NBA history I'd pick him, but I'm definitely not a fan.

Shaquille O'Neal: When he's "Goofy Shaq", he's likeable. As an arrogant bully who can't keep his mouth shut, I can't stand him. It has nothing to do with the Lakers, I've not really liked "Bully Shaq" since the Orlando days. But his goofy persona is entertaining, sadly it's overshadowed by the other Shaquille these days.

yes i agree with your karl malone assessment 100% he is just extremely unlikable, i dont know why, dont ask me.

thats about it, but im constantly infuriated by kobe and vince carter's cocky ass grins. i mean, really, dont they watch video replays?! shut your mouths and play ball, you're not there to look good and quite frankly you dont look good so stick to what you do best :D it was incredibly satisfying to watch kobe and fish cry, it almost restored equilibrium, if i had to see kobe grin one more time i think i'd puke. they're pretty good at basketball though so thats okay

cliff robinson can also look constipated, and sometimes ben wallace's afro reminds me of a giant mane of crazy pubic hair. whenever i see paul pierce i am strongly reminded of a slug or giant piece of crap. steve francis just looks really wierd, i'd like him if he didnt look so damn wierd. same with van exel. sam cassell is like the epitome, he is like an alien dog. shawn kemps sweat is sickening.

thats it!

gotta give artest some respect for his passion/intensity on defense. that other stuff though...

hmmm. i don't like malone's game these past few years. his game is now shooting mostly outside jumpers. and when he does decide to take it to the cup, he's sticking those elbows out (a la bill cartwright style)

also shaq- i don't doubt his athletic ability, but i don't like his game. those turn around hooks are nice. but the move where he just leans on someone in the post to get position-gets the ball-puts his shoulder/elbow in your chest-does a power jump stop to the middle to send you flying-and there's nothing a defender can do about it... don't like that. not much skill there. and make some ft's. in live2k3 i almost have a better chance making free throws with my eyes closed when shaq goes to the line hehe

antoine walker- he looked like he had a great all around game coming into the league. but ever since he graced the cover of live 99, his game has turned into jacking 3's

kvh- the tin man/david copperfield of the nba.

I agree that Malone's playing style has taken a turn for the worst these past few years. But I still like the guy and I never quite understood why he's disliked by so many people.

Chris Webber, Mike Bibby, Vlade Divac, Doug Christie, Samaki Walker, Tim Duncan, Jalen Rose, Danny Ferry, Zach Randolph, Shawn Bradley, Hedo Turkoglu, and above all, Vince Carter. Karl Malone used to top this list, but I'm open to cheering him now that he's signed with the Lakers.

Allen Iverson - to cocky for me
Tracy McGrady - (he should shut his mouth.....1st play before you say stuff
Vince Carter a lil - mostly because all my bball friends are fan of him because he has hops...they say hes the best and ish like that....so I always say I hate him :P ...but I dont really hate him, I just think hes overrated.
Vlade Divac - "That was just lucky shot.....U dont need spme special skill for that...it goes in, goes in  " STFU you, who was leading with 25? If you think your so great then you should have won the game by 30...but you couldnt handle the pressure.
Chris Webber - same as Swa said....hes a baby...always whining    boohoohoo....he also thinks that they are the 2002 champs..he mentiond that in some interviews

Vlade Divac and Doug Christie!!
Vlade is the biggest sook in the game, and is the ibggest flopper of the century. he never stops crying all game.
and Doug Christie just annoys the hell outta me. that stupid little wave to his darn wife and that goofy dopey lookin smile!

T-Mac i respect his game, and i used to like him, but now, the guy is a cocky prick who is good for a laugh becoz of how stupid he is!
best quotes are "It feels great to be in the 2nd rnd" said when they were up 3-1 to Pistons HAHAHAHHAHAH.
and then he goes and says he should've been told that juwan howard was getting signed!! man, i'd tell him to get fucked

Vince Carter.
not really his fault, mainly fans who have made me dislike him. always preaching.Oh hes the best in the NBA he is the best dunker which means hes the best
it really is quite annoying and prolly the main reason i dont like him :?

Keith Van Horn...................does anyone actually like this guy lol
said to be the next Larry Bird HA!
but like Magic Johnson said(i think it was him) "there will never ever be......another Larry Bird.

well there the main players i dont like, the rest dont really need to be said

Geez...Talk about selling out.

In his 18 years with the Utah Jazz, I found Karl Malone to be a selfish player, a dirty player, and generally arrogant off the court. As you can imagine, I was pretty disappointed to see him flirting with Mitch Kupchak as July rolled around. But after he signed, Malone didn't seem like the Malone of old. When he decided not to wear Magic Johnson's retired #32, I was definitely impressed; if there was anything Karl could've done to reverse his anti-Magic campaign back in '92, it was this act of selflessness. I also can't help but respect his motives for playing in Los Angeles. Sure, he could've stuck around in Utah as the primary scoring option and smashed Kareem's record this year, or he could've signed with San Antonio or Dallas for more than twice what Kupchak could offer him. Ultimately, though, the Mailman wanted a ring above all, and when push came to shove, he thought his best bet to win a title was with the Lakers. It's a feel-good story that we don't often see in professional sports these days, and I'm just glad it happened to involve my favorite team. So if being "open to cheering" for someone who's shown nothing but class in the past few months is sellout behavior, then fine, call me a sellout.

Since I have been a Jazz fan for a long time, I know that Karl Malone is perceived by many to be what he really isn't. You're talking about Malone not having class, or having it the past few months, I think Malone has more class than any other player in NBA history. Wanna know why? Let me tell you. I'm sure all of you know what happened at the end of Game 6 of the 98 Finals. After Michael stole the ball and championship from Malone, he and the Bulls celebrated and everyone saw that. What everyone didn't see and probably doesn't know about is that Malone went on Chicago's team bus and personally congratulated Michael Jordan and shook his hand. All this while the entire Bulls team was celebrating and smoking cigars all around him on the bus. That's class, selflessness, and not being a sore loser.. Compare that to guys like AI who just lock themselves in a room after the Finals and cry about not winning a championship.

robby i think its natural that people dont like the team, and thus the star players on that team, that have a rivalry/are competitive with their own favorite team/player or team/player they root for. its almost a compliment. i didnt love mj, but i did love scottie so that may attribute to my dislike of him, plus i think he tries not to show too much emotion on the court, aka keeping the nba malone and personal malone seperate which is very admirable, but may come off the wrong way (arragonace, nonchalance). he also seems to have a stony, sarcastic sense of humor which sometimes might go the wrong way with diehard fans of mj/bulls, and diehard fans are paranoid, so those elbows (some of which were definetely intentinial  ) dont help.

i actually kind of like malone the person, malone the player is just not my favorite. thats all.

Yao Ming - what on overrated piece of crap, 7'5'' and he got what 8.8 rebounds a game. pfft
The entire Kings roster except for Bibby and Webber - they suck, my dad used to work a lot (as in he flew down almost every week from Vancouver to do consulting) in Sacremento so he liked the Kings, and I just liked to cheer against him. Then they beat the Lakers. :furious:
Dirk Nowitzki - I dislike him so much I decided to make him 81 overall in Live. Why? Because I can. I also thought I was so smart doing this since this was before I knew about nlsc or .org or the patching concept. I thought "nobody would change the ratings, I'm a genius." Maybe not  On the subject of ratings, Yao's a 71 in my game.
Tim Duncan - I respect him being so damn good, but I just don't like the guy. No explaining, just don't.
The Knicks - one year ('00 I think) I waned the conference finals to be Toronto and Miami, guess who beat them both? The fucking Knicks. First team I hated.

That's enough, my hands are sore, OW, Carpel Tunnel. j/k
