Top 6 in ppg in 03-04.

Whon do u think will be the top six highest scorers in order in the upcoming 2003-2004 season. Give predicted points per players as well.
1) T-Mac 30.3
2) Carter 29.4
3) Pierce 28.2
4) 5) AI 26.7
5) KG or TD 26.0
6) Kobe 25.6

I feel T-Mac will be strong again because he was extremely strong last year and he is entering his prime now. But he had an extremely amazing season last year and it would be extremely hard to get 32.1 ppg a game again.

Carter after seeing him play for the Olympic team seems like he will have a breakthrough season and prove everyone wrong. He is 26 and in his prime now. He claims to be 100% better now.

Pierce is is extremely talented and is young as well and can only get better.

AI is going down slightly because there was a drop last year so I see him droping a little more this year as well. He is also getting older and is distributing the ball more now.

KG and TD will be on their because they have been getting better every year so they will make my list.

Kobe to me will drop a little due to his court cases and not much training during the offseason but will still keep his superstar status.
He will also have to share the ball more with his new teammates GP and Karl Malone.

I left Shaq off because he also is getting older and will drop slightly. Not to mention the addition of GP and Karl Malone.

tmac 31 ppg might be lower this season, i think he will improve his all around game even more, but that doesnt neccesarily mean it will take away from his point production. he can hit 34+ this season if his back is 100% and if juwan and gooden can help dimnish the d pressure on him. grant hill return, even at a 15 7 and 4-5 (still very good) state would help him a lot.

iverson 28 ppg optimistic, but somehow paul pierce at number 2 doesnt seem right, so iverson is here.

paul pierce 27 ppg him and antoine are the only ones touching the ball in boston, he's a cant miss in the top 5 unless he gets injured.

tim duncan 26 ppg he might hit 28, this year might be his breakout season (in terms of point production)

kobe bryant 25 ppg shaqs the go to guy, kobe hasnt touched a ball (basketball that is) all summer. plus phil would be wise to run it through shaq because theirs too much uncertainty surrounding kobe. i read somewhere phil said that shaq will get the ball as much as he wants this season (after seeing he worked out during summer) but he's expecting his assists to sky rocket.

wild card: vince carter. he's either going to bomb and his career is over or produce. he played well at the olympics, but he was playing with a lot of great players and could virtually play one on one (imagine doubling vince only to leave ray allen wide open  ). we'll see what he can do when he is the number one defensive priority, or even if he is still good enough to be the number one defensive priority.

I don't think Kobe's offseason troubles/lack of practice will contribute to a lower PPG average, but the addition of Payton and Malone will surely take a few points away from Kobe, and probably Shaq as well.

I guess I am dumb than hey, first you leave out the top 2 scorers in the league(tmac and kobe) and put in kenyon martin at 25,26 ppg

top 6 (thats right 3 30+ scorers :P)

1. Tracy McGrady 31.1(with addition of juwan howard and drew gooden improving, T-mac's average will drop a little not alot though)
2. Kobe Bryant 30.8 (his average will be up a little additionof GP and malone won't do much)
3. Allen Iverson 30.5 (this year he will pop back up to 30+ ppg)
4. Shaq 28.0 (him and kobe will dominate)
5. Paul Pierce 27.7 (just got a feeling)
6. Tim Duncan 25.9 (he will be his usual self cept not the MVP)
