Yeah, and we all know that you have inside details on the case, so that you can say he is a rapist. :roll:

Anywho, I personally do not think that Kobe could have done that, as he put it, he comitted adultery, which is NOT the same as raping.

I think the girl is just doing it for fame or whatever, but what do I know, let's see what they Jury decides.

Do you have inside info? That he is not a rapist? At least I have charges, what do you have???? I also have a prosecutor who says he has physical evidence. Again, I ask, what do you have? Kobe's word maybe, what good is that after he has already lied once.
I also have a man who has lied to his wife, and has committed adultery, while you have this vision of someone you see on T.V. that you know absolutely nothing about his personal life but still are willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, because he is a star player on the team you like.

Why are you so sure he is not a rapist?...........because he has never raped or fondled someone in-front of the camera, or he is just so careful around the public eye, that he has you fooled.

He'll participate in the upcoming season. Unless he's convicted for any length of time, he probably won't miss anything except perhaps a few days of R&R or personal training in August.

I would go about spewing "Kobe hater" at David and others. I'd call you guys "Kobe loyalists" first.

How can you continue to defend Kobe? He's lied to you. He said he didn't do it, never seen the girl before. Then he's like, ok, maybe I did meet her. Now the DNA evidence comes in and he has to admit he did commit adultery.

He's Chad-Fording you all over the place, and yet you still defend him like he's done absolutely nothing wrong.

DA's don't prosecute if they don't think they can find you guilty.
Kobe has lied.

Yet you can honestly say you're 100% sure he's innocent and the girl is lying. I'm not saying he's guilty, but I'm definately not going to say he's innocent. I'd love to see him get four years, out on parole in one, just to stick it to all the Lacker "fans" (here and elsewhere) and their "another dynasty" comments in recent weeks. But the only reason I think he's more than likely guilty is because of the DA thing.

I doubt he's a rapist though. I was thinking it was more along the lines of Kobe grabbed her breasts or something. But now according to the evidence and his own admissions, she went up to his room, they ordered a pay-per-view movie, and somehow he got his DNA all over. He either slobbers way too much, or he ejaculated. And that would definately imply some sort of sexual act.

Let's just say, it doesn't look good for Kobe right now. Some people want him to pull through no matter what he did, others would like to see him get his.

I wrote the first post a little bit after I saw the charges come out; I was a little bit heated about the whole subject.
Has he been charged for rape? YES. The first poster asked to "explain" I said no explanation he is a rapist.
Look at all the post today, and the last couple of weeks with everyone saying Ohhh NO Kobe could never do this, 99% of those people don't know him from a hole in the wall.
All I have been trying to show you, is that at least I have reason for what I believe, and even though you have watched ESPN and has seen the Colorado District Attorney say " that he has physical evidence that will convict Kobe beyond a shadow of a doubt" You still can't bring yourself to say that precious Kobe just might be guilty.

I happen to have a relative that was raped, the man who did it, was a well respected person in the community as well as a member of the church. No one believed it until the facts came out, but I believed my cousin. So you are not going to tell me that he could not have done this. I am not a Kobe hater, although i don't like how cocky he is.......... but if he is innocent I hope he gets off, but if he did rape or force himself onto that girl, then lock his 30 point, Three Championship ring ass up.

I really don't want to go on with this anymore, like you said the jury will do the rest.

Just to clarify, I am not saying he is not guilty, but I'm also not saying he is. What I got annoyed by was that you said he was a rapist. You cannot say that just yet. That was my whole point. If he is, he is...no problem.
As for what I quoted you on, you apparently dont read my posts, I have never said that he is innocent or he is guilty. That is why I keep saying lets let the Judge/Jury decide. Yet you said what you said. Why would I bring myself to say that "precious" Kobe is guilty, I said he could be guilty but I dont think it's that way. Yet I cant say that for a fact.

Like the homie pointed out, Kobe has lied 3 time thus far. To his wife, to the media... I hate Kobe, but only becuase TMac is my favorite 2 guard. Haven't these guys seen what happened to 2Pac and Mike Tyson? I hate to see Kobe go down for this, becuase as much as I don't like him(Spurs are my favorite team) the NBA loses a great player and talent if he gets time. If the girl felt raped or forced into sex or intimidated, he should get the four years(it's not like he won't go to country club prison) and he should serve them all. This is almost identical to Mike Tyson's situation, it's just that Tyson already had a tarnished image. I bet Chris Webber is smiling thinking "This takes major heat off of my back..."

More than just the state of the NBA, you don't like to see a player who is a good person have their reputation forever tarnished because of one mistake - but if someone commits a crime, they must accept the consequences.

Consider Kermit Washington. Most people say he was a good person and certainly not a violent individual. But one action has left him with a reputation as being a thug. It was just one punch, but it was such a terrible incident that it became his image.

I don't think the good necessarily outweighs the bad, not when it comes to reputation and image. It's easy enough to develop a bad reputation, but it's not always easy to shake a bad label.
