He made the 1985 All-Star game as a rookie, yes. He competed in the 1990 Three Point Shootout but didn't do too well - his score of 5 points remains a low for the event.

I couldn't pick a best All-Star Weekend or a personal favourite. 1997 was pretty good though.

If you're an MJ fan, 1988 was a pretty good All-Star Weekend as well. My other suggestion would be 1996 - the last All-Star game where the great players of the 90s were all involved.
