Minnesota Timberwolves looking strong?

So far their roster isn't looking too shabby.

C - Ervin Johnson
PF - Kevin Garnett
SF - Juwan Howard (if he signs which is now 80% confirmed he would)
SG - Wally Szczerbiak
PG - Sam Cassell

Overall that's not a bad starting lineup with Troy Hudson easily backing up the PG position. There's also been talk that the Knicks are willing to trade Latrell Sprewell for Wally Szczerbiak. Do you think they should do it?

There line up looks good, but the sad thing is, they will still end up around 4 to 6 in the West and wont reach further than the 2nd round if they reach that far...the west just got too many good teams out there.

I'm not too sure on that trade for Sprewell. His game seems to be going down now ( or maybe it was because Houston was taking over?) and his play was very inconsistant last season. Wait till the trading deadline and see how things go and maybe the t-wolves can try this.

i do think that is will be
pf - howard
sf -garnett
im not sure but howard has played always(?) at the pf spot and garnett played the sf before, a lot of times so, it doesnt really matter i know :) , it are two forward spots, and against td and cwebb and other big man it will be likely that garnett takes them on(however its not really sure),but just wanted to mention :D

Juwan plays SF as well, but he's more of a PF than a SF...kinda like Jamison.

I think the lineup would be this...

Rasho
Howard
Garnett
Wally
Cassell

Hudson
Trent
Erving
Peeler
Shane

it would not be a good idea..he got 20+ mpg last year and because of that joe smith didnt get any big minutes!

lineup last year:

c-rasho
pf-smith
sf-kg
sg-wally
pg-hudson

and when peeler came in it was like that:
c-rasho
pf-kg
sf-wally
sg-peeler
pg-hudson

and if they sign peeler then i think they may give him again 20+mpg like they gave him since season 97-98(season when he came to timberwolves team) this year it wont affect joe smith but if minnesota signs him then it may hurt howards playing time! and if t-wolves sign him they wouldnt get howard or they can sign peeler for minimum!
