.i think he is not.he is good player,good passing skills-no loo passes,he can rebound,he can jump like steve francis,he can dunk like vince carter.i know that highschool basketball is not same,but college basketball level is better.my opinion is-he is not too overrated.he is also my favourite rookie!

You can't say nothing about LeBron until you have seen him play in the NBA. And I think Lebron's skills have been discussed before....

I wouldn't say he's overrated, but the expectations put on him are enormously high. You've all heard the argument, so I won't bore with a long post.

He's not too overrated but he'll don't expect him to be MJ in his prime when he plays his first game. He might have some rough starts but I think he'll do fine once he develops his strengths.

It's not his fault that he's got all this publicity in the first place, it was because of the media! Once you've been blown up b the media, everything else comes into place... that's why there's all this hype around him! But i feel Lebron is going to live up to that hype, unlike like Kwame Browne!

Who's Lebron James?
I can just see it, Cavs at Pacers, Lebron shooting 0-10 in the first half. He accidentally switches on to Reggie Miller (who is making cameo appearances in his retirement tour). Miller makes him weave through 3 screens, where he picks up an elbow from Brad Miller, gets his shirt pulled by Jermaine O'Neal, and to finish it up, gets headbutted by Ron Artest.
In the second half... it gets ugly...
Meanwhile the Pistons are hosting the Nets, and Darko Milicic pops out twice in a row to bury jumpers over Martin. A minute later he hits a turn around jumper down low, followed by a hard foul on Jason Kidd on the next defensive sequence.
In Chicago, Kirk Hinrich gets pulled out of the game after the disabled Terrel Brandon (who makes a comeback with the Bucks) burns him for three layups in a row. He runs only at three-quarter pace because of his injuries but never mind because the next John Paxon is guarding him
The New York Knicks who are hosting the Raptors (still strugling to rebound), start all the centres they drafted (I dunno how many was it?) and they combine for 3 rebounds, 9 fouls, and 1 point after a combined total of 13 minutes of court time.

first games what lebron plays-its hard man.yeah media screwed up everything.i think in first year-19.0 points per game,5 rebounds per game,7 assist per game.and ROOKIE OF THE YEAR.

Terrel Brandon wasn't traded but it's unlikely he'll play again and teams could take him on as salary relief and trade for him. I just made up the thing about him going to Milwuakee because he's already been there. It was a joke... but now if it did happen I'll look like a genius, or some ass will post how "it can't happen" and I too will look like an ass. Kind of like right now, because I'm rambling and spamming...
...and Jason Kidd, I think Lebron will average around 25ppg, 11rpg and 9apg and 5bpg, but that's just my opinion. It's based on air. Lebron will achieve all this as a rookie because he'll play 43 minutes a game.

Oscar Robertson averaged a triple double in the 70's at some point. Tiny Archibald also led the league in scoring and assists the same season. So Lebron is going to average 51 points a game to break Wilt's record, 34 boards to break somebody's record and 21 assists to break another record, plus 12 blocks and 11 steals so he'll not only get a quintiple(sp?) double, but he'll average one.
