I'm going to say Spurs in 7. Mainly because I don't feel strongly about either team, so I'm hoping for an exciting series that goes the distance. :)

just because i'm bored....

matchups....

DR/Rose vs Mutombo/ Caffey : If either DR or Mutombo will play, then they sholud match wach other, both being half dead after their injuries...E\Rose should dominate CAffey....

Duncan vs Martin : Duncan is much better overall...

Bowen/ Jackson vs. Jefferson : Even matchup in both cases...

Manu vs Kittles/ Harris/ whoever : in my opinion Manu will be the key to this series.....he'll expload even more...

Parker vs. Kidd :Self explanatory...

well....unless kidd explodes for 50 points 20 asts 10 stls and 35 rebs every night.....it'll be a San Antonio SWEEEEEEEEEEEP....

i added the rollin eyes emotion just because i'm evil...(wooohuhahaha)

E\Rose should dominate CAffey....

Not likely, Caffey plays for Milwaukee. But replace Caffey with Collins, and it still works. :)

Actually it's usually Collins (mentioned) and Williams playing. Spurs in 6, but I wan't 7 for Andrew's reasons. Except it's not that I don't feel strongly about either team, I do feel strongly, but I strongly hate them. :x

I like New Jersey to win this series in 7 games, that's game 7 in San Antonio.

Maybe they could dump them in 5 or 6.

I know this sounds risky or wrong, but New Jersey is set-up perfectly to beat the Spurs, they run well, they have big people and they start quickly.

I might be entirely wrong here.

Was Jason Caffey on the Nets a month ago?

I'll be different and say Spurs in 5.

I hate the Spurs with a passion (not because they beat the Lakers) but simply because they're just not very fun to watch. It's been getting better over the last few years, but still I would have MUCH rather seen Sacramento or Dallas.

J-Kidd doesn't have the help that Duncan has in S.A. Duncan can score less than 20 points and S.A. can still beat teams. Nets don't stand a chance, but I'll be nice and give them one game. :D

finally the series kicks off today. what's the genius behind delaying the start of this championship series?

i sure hope this long layoff doesn't affect the roll the nets/spurs are on

this series better go at least 6 games (unless each game goes in OT) or else this finals will be anti climatic

If any team was affected in Game 1, it would have to be the Nets. As I said elsewhere, I hope this isn't an indication of the rest of the series.
