Congrats to Big Ben, he really deserved it.

Artest is still too crazy to win it, but he might get it next year or something.

Garnett is an underrated defender too. (Y)

Not that underrated, he finished 3rd or 4th in this contest. Tim Duncan and Doug Christie rounded out the top 5. (Artest 2nd).

Kobe is underrated, When he feels like it he is a tough on the ball defender.

I hope GP can get All Defensive team, because that would give him the record. He's tied for it now with MJ but this would make him the only one with 10. He doesn't average a lot of steals anymore but I think that he's still one of the best.

as much as i would like to see him get it, i don't think payton will get it this year. i think it's evident he's not the defender he was back in his seattle days

i would like to see snow make the all D team...

i think KG, artest, and wallace all deserved to win the award. i think KG is the best all around defender in the league. artest is the best guard&sf defender, and big ben is the best interior defender.

Definitely a deserving winner. If he keeps this up, he's probably locked up the award for the next few years.

Ben Wallace... the centre of the USA team :P

a couple of articles I've read suggested that Ron Artest is a better one on one defender than Big ass lips Ben. Apparently Wallace doesn't strike fear into the hearts of defenders like he did last year, and Artest does. Apparently, he won it again as a result of reputation.

Artest's defence doesn't alway's show up in the stat sheet.

true, Ben is better as a weak side defender. Artest will be in his opponents face for 48 minutes.

Ron Ron's time will come

Ron Artest is a better one on one defender

he is but Ben Wallace is a better team defender, he knows what to do to disrupt the opposing team's offensive plays...
