By then, Bonner was already running amok.

He was so effective, in fact, that by game's end one Pacer was threatening to kill him.

With 25.6 seconds to play, Indiana's David Harrison, apparently none too happy about taking an elbow to the face during one of Bonner's fourth-quarter drives, informed an official of his plan for dealing with the scrappy Spurs forward.

"I'm going to (expletive) kill him," Harrison said.

That earned Harrison a technical foul. Harrison continued to stare Bonner down from the sidelines before being escorted to the locker room, where he received medical attention for the blow to his head.

Afterward, Bonner was oblivious to all of this. Informed of Harrison's comments, Bonner asked, "You only get a technical for that?"

suspended 1 game by the Pacers

LOL, what a whacky organization

Hehe, I wondered when this was going to be posted here :)

Bonner has one really effective game for the Spurs and then he is threatened to be killed. Way to go Matt ;)

David Harrison is not called HULK for no reason. He's a gentle giant that loves to smile and look like a teddy bear, but things can get broken very quickly when he gets angry.

Plus he isn't able to smoke weed during games anymore to chill out since he already has three positive tests this year.

Perhaps this is a foolish question but why would anyone say that to a referee instead of, say, muttering it under their breath or saying it to a teammate? That's just not going to end well.

Because David Harrison has consistently showed no judgment whatsoever when he gets angry.

Funny story about Dave a lot of you probably don't know:

When he was at Colorado for school, once he overslept his class, woke up and realized he had a huge paper due that class, which would not be accepted after class was over and it was 5 minutes to the end of class. Harrison gets locked and loaded in his GMC Denali (which is an SUV) and starts hauling ass through the middle of the campus. He successfully avoided all the trees and people in his way, ran to the classroom, slid it under the door of his class and drove back to his dorm, continuing to ignore the rule that you must drive on a road.

I had heard this story on the internet somewhere, and I wasn't sure of the facts, but I swear by it now because I got him to confirm it to me.

Sounds like something that would belong in a Road Trip-like movie.
