Pau Gasol Traded to the LA Lakers

To the Lakers: Pau Gasol

To the Grizzlies: Kwame Brown, Javaris Critterton, Aaron McKie, the rights to Marc Gasol, 2008 1st Round pick, 2010 1st Round pick.

The Lakers didn't really have to give up much to get Pau Gasol. Surprising. So with Pau, the Lakers' starting line-up:

C: Andrew Bynum
PF: Pau Gasol
SF: Lamar Odom
SG: Kobe Bryant
PG: Derek Fisher

EDIT: Updated with more recent link and additional assets the Grizzlies get.

I can't believe the Lakers just got one of the league's best big men without dealin Bynum, Odom or at least Jordan Farmar.

On the other end, LOL at the Memphis Grizzlies' front court. Milicic, Brown, and Collins (the Nets have been reported to traded Jason Collins to Memphis for Stromile Swift). They also now have 3 young point guards in Conley, Lowry, and now Critterton.

With Gasol off the market let's hope New Jersey or Chicago panics and decides to overpay for Jermaine.

I hope we can get Jermaine in to the New Jersey/Dallas talks for Jason Kidd and try and bring back Devin Harris and maybe a guy like Kristic from New Jersey.

LA would have been crazy not to do this deal, but it makes sense for Memphis too. They pick up a large salary that's coming off the books, and another first rounder for next season. I think they would have rather been able to get Farmar instead of Crittenton, but I guess they are already pretty set at the point guard position anyways.

O.K lets think.. Gasol play as a Forward right... So We Now Have No Centers...that's not very good..Maybe Odom or Gasol will try to be centers..But..I don't know..
