NBA MVP Power Rankings

Fri Nov 16, 2007 9:09 am

Hey Guys,

Just thought of making my own MVP Power rankings for this season. It's solely based on a well thought of formula which I think works pretty well. So far I have a list of 20 players who have a shot at MVP. Did I forget someone please tell me so I can add him. Feedback would be nice.

NBA MVP Power Rankings 15-11-07

The New top 20

1 Kevin Garnett 99,8
2 Carlos Boozer 93,5
3 Dwight Howard 90
4 LeBron James 89
5 Kobe Bryant 87,3
6 Yao Ming 83,8
7 Paul Pierce 82,9
8 Tracy McGrady 81,5
9 Chris Paul 80,6
10 Allen Iverson 80,6

Mind telling us exactly what your formulas is?

Kobe too high!? wtf?

I agree with Boozer, Garnett, and Yao Ming. And I agree with Wade_03, Deron should be higher and Kobe should be lower.

Why is Boozer 2nd? Just out of curiosity.

Boozer's stats are: 25.3 / 11.5 / 2.6

Garnett's stats are: 21.6 / 13.6 / 4.8

D-Howard's stats are: 21.8 / 15.0 / 1.6

=======

All three are pretty impressive

If Cleveland start to win, then LJ should be my first choice, currently I put Kevin Garnett's name in first place, but don't forget about Iverson and Anthony, Nuggets played very well in this season, so I think these two guys are serius candidates.

it's too early to talk about MVP, but 2 triple doubles in 2 nights for lebron, he's the leading scorer in addition to almost averaging a triple double per game.

I can't see how lebron isn't #1 right now, it's a tough competition, but I think he's been super human.

The cavs are starting to win now, they had the best west coast trip in years (3-3, last year 3-4, year prior 2-3, year prior even worse), they have a tough series of games coming up (boston, detroit, toronto, boston again) - If the cavs can win these tough games and prove themselves that they still are the eastern conference champions then lebron will obviously be the #1 MVP with his ridiculous stats right now.

If only the cavs had more good players... (wake up danny ferry!!)

I would prefer kobe to get the MVP but i think that Lebron will go for it this year, yeah it`s too early to say but he`s on fire and looks like it stays like this for a while.
