Marbury Leaves Knicks

Link.

Haha, what a douche.

Hehe, douche.

Not surprising to me though.

Time for him to go to Italy and take 60 shots a game.

Talk about poetic justice. Zeke did everything to bring Marbury here, and got rid of players who couldn't play with him(Kurt Thomas). Now it blows up in his face. This franchise is sinking deeper & deeper, and there's no end in sight with Dolan in charge.

well looks like they can't get rid of him so easily. looks like Marbury is blackmailing his way back into the team.

i woulda trade him for a bag of year old peanuts. guy it a cancer, always has been, always will be. get anything you can for him and actually make the knicks a nba team again and not just a replacement for the clippers as the running joke team of the nba

I don't think his physical abilities is on the decline, but his mental.

I wouldn't be surprised if people started talking about a possible Kobe/Starbury trade. I'm pretty sure Kobe would veto anything that was offered, though.

The other day I was trying to name a player who has the same attitude as Kobe...guess who it is. :D

Except Kobe doesn't go completely overboard when faced with something as trivial as losing his starting job.

And this cat said he could play with KG now? Please.

Too bad none of KG's class & committment to team never rubbed off on 'Starbury'.

The Daily News has a habit of coming up with fake storys, or unconfirmed information just so they can have the "exclusive content". For the most part that is.

Marbury doesn't really seem to realize hes no longer the player he once was. Now that hes older he doesn't have that same quickness he had in his younger years.

marbury does not seem to realize the player he once was, was not that great to begin with. also i agree with your point that he still thinks he is at the top of his game

Marbury has demonstrated that he's a talented player throughout his career and even if he's not at the top of his game, I would suggest he's still capable of being a fine player in terms of his basketball talent. However, with his odd behaviour and eyebrow raising remarks during the offseason and this latest incident that once again raises questions about his mindset and attitude he's once again proven himself an exceedingly difficult teammate. I can't imagine it's going down well with the rest of the Knicks, though I read that he offered an apology in the locker room that the article suggested was less than sincere.
