Howard wants to be traded because of KG's trade but I don't see it happening. He'll be in Minny this year.

Webber's a free agent.

im surprised webber hasnt been signed, but i havent heard any rumours he wanted to get traded?

Webber is a FA and he'll probably sign on mid-seas or something. He won't return to Detroit (Y)

Yuck. What are you, a Michigan fan?

I hope he will sign with ORLANDO MAGIC! :!: :!: :!:

how about pj brown

only some team who can afford a multi-million dollar contract for a player who isn't very good can aquire Chris Webber.

I would assume Webber would be signing for the veteran minimum since he's not in a position to demand a top dollar deal, which would make him a good, low risk and affordable investment for a lot of teams.

Why do you think that?

Orlando's loaded with young promising forwards. I hope that Webber could end up on team that he could help. I just wish he plays power forward again.

nah webbers gonna start play point now (Y)

PJ Brown is a free agent. Phoenix was hoping to land him, but couldn't so they went with Skinner. His playing days are more than likely over.

Chris webber made it sound like he will only play for detroit, maybe dallas. But detroit needs to clear some space so they can sign him.

Juwan Howard, i just saw how he told minny what teams he wants to be traded to, and then i laughed. Who does this guy think he is?

Mon Oct 15, 2007 8:42 am

i bet Juwan thinks he's the TimberWovles new KG wanting a trade when hes not EVEN that good he got his spot taken by Chuck Hayes a 6'6 power forward i admit Chuck can play but still Juwan could have atleast put some effort

p.s Houston Rockets are my favorite team so i know a lot about them

I would suggest it's more about nearing the end of his career and wanting to play for a championship contender rather than thinking he's a superstar. It's not only the star players who ask to get traded.

C web signing for the vet minimum? you cant be serious, are you?

Wed Oct 17, 2007 1:31 am

Well he said that 3 weeks ago now...

But Chris Webber's knees are shot, he cant play more than 24-25 minutes a night. Teams are probably not likely to shell out much more than the vets' minimum. And he would want to go to a contending team, who, chances are would not be able to afford any more than that.

He'd be a solid backup for teams like Dallas, San Antonio, Boston, Houston...

He has 2 years max left in him.

Chris Webber isnt worth the charmin extra-soft that he wipes his ass with. I could tolerate his whining and ship jumpin when he actually had something to contribute to a team, but now, in the twilight of his career, he just needs to shut up, and walk away.

lol, my two cents.

Considering he signed with Detroit last year for the minimum and the veteran minimum or mid level exception is as good as he's going to get, I would say it's a distinct possibility if he wishes to continue playing in the NBA
