Robert Horry is the dogshit on Michael Jordan's shoes after he's done stepping on his opponents.

*g* He's definitely had his moments in the playoffs. If it hadn't been for his big clutch performances, he wouldn't have at least 3 of his rings.

This thread is spam. Number of rings != how good you are.

Wade took like 3 years to win his ring?
Lebron took 4 years to get to the finals.
How bout that Oberto? Won his ring in his 2nd year..

He is the future.

While we're at it, Tom "Satch" Sanders > Robert Horry and Michael Jordan since he has eight rings to Horry's seven and Jordan's six.

In that case:
Bill Russell (11) >Sam Jones (10) >Tom Heinsohn (8) >Satch Sanders (8) >John Havlicek(8) Robert Horry (7) >Frank Ramsey (7) >Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (6) >Bob Cousy (6) >Michael Jordan (6)

There! Thread over

You left out a couple and a few should be "greater than or equal to" one another but aside from that, that's basically how it runs. Additionally, Larry Siegfried = Magic Johnson = Steve Kerr.

In all seriousness, the fact Horry has just won his seventh ring is a testament to his value as a role player in the NBA and it's something that he can be proud of. But that's where it ends; you can say he's accumulated more rings than some of the greats but their importance in their respective championship seasons, not to mention their other career achievements and the basketball talent they possessed places them in a class high above Horry. Big Shot Rob may have more rings than his former teammate Hakeem Olajuwon, but The Dream still goes down as one of the greatest centres to play the game while Horry's legacy will be as a noteworthy role player on a few different squads.

Horry is a better cheap-shot artist than Jordan ever was.

Horry has made some nice clutch-shots but other than that MJ is a lot better than him.
