Of all players, Dwyane is not the one to talk. He should have his pants full of happyness, because of the non-touch policy by Stern.

As much as I hate Mark Cuban and how much D.Wade played amazing in the finals he did miss two clutch free-throws giving Dallas the chance to win the game in game 4 I think, so he shouldn't go taking shots at Dirk. I didnt think that was his style.

You ment game six, when he missed them both and then Terry missed a wide open 3pt.

That part with FT's is great, Wade does get way too many calls.

Cubans blog is hell funny.

In all seriousness though.....Wade was out of line specifically naming Dirk after no such directions at him. The Mavs though need to accept that they got beat. Sure they can complain about FT's but Wade still got those in Game 1 & 2. Mavs choked, accept it and move on.

I heard all the comments made by Dirk, Wade, Cuban whilst watching the Cavs vs Heat game on Saturday and they asked Wade before the game what he though of Cubans comments and he said something like "i don't know why he's lashing out at me like this, but i'm not going to respond, i'm not going to get any more involved"

They were all very surprised that Wade would say something like that and single out a player as he did to Dirk.

Watch the Spurs-Heat game. Wade said he made those comments because Dirk was saying they let Miami have the championship and Wade was defending his team. Cuban is just being a dick as usual.

Actually that says it all. "AI" is playing way harder than D-Wade and is not getting more calls.
I did not really have a problem with him getting those calls and beating the Mavs in the Finals (although I am a Dirk and Mavs supporter). But that comment about Dirk was way off. Dirk is a serious MVP candidate while D-Wade was not able to lift his team over .500 with Shaq sidelined.
They are totally different players, I dont want to compare them, would not make any sense ... BUT Dirk knows when he has to take the shots and when not. You do not have to have the ball in your hands on every single clutch possesion to be a leader. Thats my opinion.

What about the fact that dirk was talking about giving the championship to the heat? That's bullshit....every action has a reaction.

I agree that Dirk is a serious MVP candidate too and Wade's comments are wrong, but that is the result of Dirk talking about giving Miami the championship. When you look at Dallas, you see like four people capable of scoring 20 a game and Miami is full of veterans and young guys who are really inexperienced. I'm still disappointed to Miami's slow start, but with Shaq back, they are 5-1. As for Wade having the ball on every clutch play, examples from the Finals show he doesn't. With the clutch jumper by Payton in Game 3 and the lay-up in Game 4, they would lead to W for Miami topped off by FT attempts by Wade. Wade knows that he needs to make those plays when needed if his team is going to win so why isn't he a leader if he leads his team to a championship?

Guess who was the leader in having this policy in the league? Yup, the one and only Mark Cuban.

Cuban sounds like a homer fan with what he says. Props to Dirk for his response, Cuban is just an idiot that doesn't realize the guys on his team aren't alwasys happy with his attempts to "defend" them. Wade and Dirk almost say the same thing. True it's a diss to say "we gave it to them" as if the other team didn't put the effort out there, but by Wade saying Dirk didn't lead and didn't step up, that is kind like Dirk giving the game to the Heat by not stepping up.

Also just so people know, without Shaq and with Wade playing, the Heat were something like 17-13, not under .500, they went 1-7 without both Shaq and Wade. SO Wade actually WAS able to keep his team above .500, and that's neglecting the fact that J-Will, and Posey also missed a few of those games. With them the team was winning at an eve better percentage

Cuban sure as hell comes off as a little whiney girl sometimes, but at least he manages to keep it slightly entertaining.

Great leadership DWade. Your coach sat players for being fat. I guess you couldnt lead them away from the buffet.

Other notable FTA's:
1988 Larry Bird (29.9 ppg): 6.0 FTA
1993 Dominique Wilkens (29.9 ppg): 8.8 FTA
1997 Michael Jordan (29.6 ppg): 7.0 FTA
2003 Kobe Bryant (30.0 ppg): 8.7 FTA

The amount of calls Wade gets is retarded. I won't deny he's a great player, but 11.3 FTA is just BS.

Then Wade got smarts. If he knows the refs give him these calls, why not take advantage of it if it will help you win.

People blame Wade as if it's his fault the whistle is being blown. If anyone, blame the refs or David Stern if you feel that the number of calls he gets are unjustified.
