It is AI....maybe you missheard or something. I guess AL could be short for Allen.

it saves to a system buffer (i think its called "Clipboard" in english) and u can paste it with any graphic program

works pretty much like the Copy and Paste of text, just with images

(when u hit Copy it saves the text to the clipboard, and then u can paste with any text proggie like wordpad etc)
