Gilbert Arenas opts to be in the Free Agency

Is it true that Gilbert Arenas is leaving the Wizards next season?

Are there any articles or url links that states this is wrong. You know Im a huge Agent Zero fan and Gilbert deserves to be in the Wizards uniform.

I think the Wizards would do pretty much anything to keep him around so i doubt he will be a free agent.

According to the contract info at Patricia Bender's site Arenas has an opt-out clause in 2008, otherwise his contract runs through to 2009. I don't recall reading any rumours of him opting out but in any case he won't be able to do so until after the 2007/2008 season.

I for one don't recall reading any that suggested he's going to opt out in the first place. But as I said, if is going to opt out he won't be able to until 2008.
