The Bobcats could do with a veteran that still has plenty of skill (Y)

If i was him id go to Miami. They have a good shot at winning it again, and he could be a great piece to their team. Either that or Milwaukee. ;)

Actually Milwaukee would be a good fit for him, they got Patterson, but I still feel the Buck's bench still needs some help.

 At you actually wanting Jalen though. I hated him when he was in his prime with the Pacers.

Detroit has the MLE methinks. And a free spot on the roster. And is a veteran team pushing for a ring.

Detroit or Miami with Detroit being the favorites.

Denver seems like a pretty good fit for Rose. He'll get plenty of time and shots to hoist up since J.R. Smith and Diawara are still too young to be relied on a consistent basis.

Like Brevin Knight?

Detroit would be great for him... it would be nice to have a bench that goes 10 deep for once...
Delfino can put up or shut up, in pre season he hasnt been playing like he should be. If Saunders is gonna keep him shooting jumpers, then we dont need him here (since youre not allowed to play defence anymore anyway)

Thats what they wanted, but then they'd have to release some player, most likely Sampson.

Another team that comes to mind is Orlando... Grant Hill and Ariza (Turkoglu can switch between SG/SF, so Rose would be playing the opposite spot if Turkoglu was on the floor at the same time), I'm pretty sure Jalen could grab the starting spot there.

And Laxation, Brevin Knight is strictly a pass first point guard. They don't have any real offensive threats, unless Morrison impresses greatly. Jalen Rose can play the PG, SG, and SF spots, he is a very good passer, and is no doubt a better scorer than anyone else on the Bobcats. It would also help the Cats introduce Morrison slowly, with Rose starting at the shooting guard, and switching over to small forward when Morrison comes in and Wallace goes out. Even though Morrison is listed as a forward, I doubt they will have Gerald Wallace play out of position when Morrison is just as suited to a guards role as a forward. Heres how the lineup could look for the Cats with Rose:

C: Primoz Brezec
PF: Emeka Okafor
SF: Gerald Wallace
SG: Jalen Rose
PG: Brevin Knight*
-------------------------
SG: Adam Morrison
PF: Sean May
PG: Raymond Felton*
C: Melvin Ely
C: Jake Voskuhl
SG: Matt Carroll
SF: Walter Herrmann
SF: Bernard Robinson
PF: Othella Harrington
SF: Alan Anderson
C: Ryan Hollins

*Could go either way

The main thing the Bobcats would be lacking without Rose is veteran presence, but not in the form of a bench warmer. Rose brings veteran presence and skill to a young team on the rise. I like the look of Charlotte with Jalen. Just remember their leading scorer was Gerald Wallace with just 15.2 PPG, Rose is capable of 20+ with a team like this.

About Brevin Knight, he was given a choice to be traded to a contending team... but he said no and he wanted to help the Cats get onto their feet and learn to play. I'm guessing that this season, Felton will be starting a lot and Knight will play on with the Cats till the end of his contract. (Y) Also, I don't see Charlotte going for Rose, they don't have a need for him... I htink they much rather wait out till next year and try and sign Vince Carter.

And knowing about selling tickets and stuff, the Cats will probably start Morrison at SG, they want him as a star.

As for Rose joining Orlando... no.... he has to join Philly :D

Untill Morrison works his way into the league, the Bobcats are starting Felton and Brevin in the backcourt. That just shows how desperate they are for a veteran SG ready to contribute it big ways.

well I think he is still very good, he had several impressive games before he was traded to the knicks. Especially if he moves to a contender, he's going to learn his role on the team and become a valuable contributer. If Antoine Walker can do it, surely Jalen Rose can.

Morrison will be ready in enough time. But tell me what will happen when they want to start Morrison and wanna dump Rose onto the bench... will that cut for Rose? And also think about it, Rose didn't even get to play for the knicks (of all teams) during the preseason... I'm thinknig his form isn't at the top...

Still, they got money so they can sign him.

That was playing for the Raptors... about half a year ago... let me emphasise that it was about half a year ago... oh, it was for the Raptors...

It only took that time for Mike James to be ahted by Raptor fans and playing for that team let Mike james pad his stats.

The Knicks are fucked because Larry Brown/Isiah didn't know how to run a team, plus theres Crawford, Marbury and Francis - all three of which would also go for 20+ on the Cats. The Knicks actually have a lot of talent, and thats why Jalen didn't start. I wouldn't start Morrison ahead of Jalen throughout this season unless Morrison showed he was special, by special I mean playing better than Jalen and showing he's ready for this league.

I know the Knicks have talent. I'm not talking about before but during the preseason, he didn't get a chance to prove himself to the team... he didn't even get minutes.

And I have a lot of belief in Morrison, he will start in a month or so.

What does he have to prove? Jalen started 23 of his 26 games as a Knick last season anyway, so they obviously knew what he was capable of, hence no need to risk injury (the real reason is they were gonna waive him anyway, so he didn't need minutes) or anything like that, because he had nothing to prove. Why not let the younger guys show what they are capable of?

And I have a lot of belief in Morrison, he will start in a month or so.

If Rose was there, he wouldn't. The Bobcats have to start him eventually because two pointguards in the backcourt won't work well, especially defensively, they will get pushed around by bigger guards.

I think the Pistons will pick him up. He went to Michigan , and Jalen Rose was a Pistons fan growing up , according to his official site http://www.jalenrose.com/jalenrose/inde ... iew&id=210

Yes, but you said they needed a skillful veteran presence. Sort of exactly like Knight... :?

Morrison and Wallace will start, with Wallace taking the better of the opposition's swingmen, so positions (g/f) dont really matter too much there...

Felton is starting... thats definate now

Rose has said he doesnt really care about starting anymore - he wants to go to a contender

Cats have said they are building through the draft

I re-ee-ee-healy dont see him going there
