I have Darko Milicic on my team, but im thinking of cutting him for Nenad Krstic. Who do you think would be better to have on my fantasy team?

Also i have Kenyon Martin, but thinking of cutting him for Marvin Williams. Who would be better to have between the two.

thanks!

I think that Nenad will have a better season because he is the main guy in new jersey. Darko will play many minutes and have decent stats but nenad will play more and have much bettter stats

Marvin i think will have a breakout season with harrington gone. So Marvin id pick

Cuttting or trading?

If you mean cutting and picking up as free agents, then I'd like to know how Nenad, Deron Williams and Marvin were all undrafted...

Get Kristic if he's really available, but don't get rid of Francis. He'll put up much better stats then either of those guys easily.

/\ I would cut Francis. There are way too many guards competing for playing time on NY (Marbury, Crawford, Robinson, Francis), and I think Francis' skill level is declining. I would go with Deron Williams considering how well he did in his rookie year.

well we only have 8 teams in our league this season. So alot of decent players out there. Here is my team....

D.Wade
Joe Johnson
Ben Gordon
Carmello
Bosh
Jamison
K-mart
Milicic
Duncan
R. Gay
Maggette
Francis
Bogut
Szczerbiak

I orginally drafted Tony Parker and Ginobili but traded them for Bosh and Gordon.
Anyway, to clear things up, im talking about cutting these players for guys in the FA pool.

Now what im thinking of doing is...

Cut Milicic for Krstic
Cut Kmart for Marvin Williams
Cut Francis for Deron Williams.

At least Krstic and Deron are the main man on their teams, where Milicic and Francis could be off the bench, or at least not a key part of their offence. My team actually needs a player who can rack up some assists, so deron over francis sounds good. But Marvin Williams to me is a gamble, Kmart had a nice game in his last pre season game.

Take Krstic over Darko for sure. As good as Darko might end up, Krstic is the man for New Jersey as far as anyone over 6'10 goes so he'll get his. I'd also take Deron over Francis.

You're going to regret getting rid of Francis.

I think it was good that you got rid of K-Mart. I think he's going to have another injury ridden season.

Getting rid of Francis and Martin is foolish - they put up good numbers. Krstic over Milicic easily.

Deron Williams can score as much as francis is going to in NY, plus he will get me more assists since i dont really have a true point guard.

someone's offering me

Yao and Marbury for my Okur and Nash

its a head to head league with FG&, FT%, 3pM, pts, reb, asst, stls, blks, TO as categories...

Here's my current lineup

Dwayne Wade
Steve Nash
Jason Terry
Caron.Butler
Rip Hamilton
Chris Webber
Tyson Chandler
Channing Frye
Mehmet Okur
Drew Gooden
Adam Morrison
Leandro Barbosa
Tim Thomas

yao is very tempting since okur now have a healthy boozer and ak47 to play with...

downside is a from nash to marbury...

what do you think guys?

Thats a hard one. Yao should put up better numbers over Okur but has a tendency to be injured. Okur has played pretty poor statistically this preseason and may see quite a few of his shots go to Boozer and Williams, therefore his scoring average may drop. I would definately take Yao over Boozer (as I believe most sane people would).

The question then become whether or not the loss suffered by taking Marbury over Nash is greater than the gain achieved by Yao over Okur. If you think it is, then you have your answer. But it's probably hard to tell at the moment. If I were you I would take a risk and take Yao and Marbury. If Marbury is playing real poor then you might be able to get rid of him to someone down the track.

keep Nash, he'll always put up great numbers and hardly ever gets injured. whilst Yao is expected to miss atleast 10 games. I picking Marbury to have a solid season of 18ppg + 8apg so he would have the edge over Okur. Yao is too injury prone for me to giv up Nash, so i dont think you should do it
