Dwayne Jones to Cleveland for Luke Jackson.

Ainge continues to wildly stockpile white boys. Could this be any more transparent?

Becoming the Omar Minaya of baseball, then again they did just get Telfair.

What do you call a power forward that averages 7 rebounds?
A small forward.

Yeah they kinda went backwards when they got Ratliff and Telfair and got rid of whiteboys Raef and Dickau so he had to make up for it.

good trade for Boston....if Jackson can get healthy (a big if) & return to his college form, then the Celtics got a steal & a good role player :P

Good trade, Cleveland gets a good defender, while Boston gets another shooter.

Well. I'm yet again impressed of Ainge. Reports just a few days ago said that Jones would be cut, instead we turn him into an asset of sorts. Jackson *might* just need a change of scenery, but then again he just might be a waste of time.

I like that we turned nothing into another opportunity to create something, but but it's a really small trade.

I like it though.

Jackson has had some very solid games, if he stays healthy like the x said then he'll be a very good pick up for what boston gave away and hes got enough time to improve.

Really? His career high points scored is 14 and 8 of those were free throws... still a good trade, since as MH said Jones was probably going to be cut.

He's got a great shot I think. :D

And it's pretty cool, I think I've read that his childhood idol was Larry Bird... I think it was. I may be mistaken!

Yeah he was.
I think he was 10th in the 2004 draft.
I thought he was gonna be a good bench player but seems like injuries from his rookie season fucked him over good.
Gonna be harder this year as a Celtics due to competition ( Green, Allen, West, Ray, etc )

if this season he can resemble a poor man's mike dunleavy, then he might stand a chance of resurrecting his career. however if this doesnt work out, he might soon find himself in the nbdl.

I think that Dunleavy comparison is pretty good, but I also once read that he had like a 33 inch vert... Not bad for a white guy.

While I am black (Black is awesome), I think you guys are being a little harsh. I don't know why but even my white friends boast about how UNathletic they are compared to a black guy. So they're known to jump higher but maybe a white guy will come out soon enough.

when it happens, we'll change our tunes. larry bird was very unathletic, but he had an outstanding career. athleticism isnt the be-all and end-all.

What's the point of telling us this when the example you gave us just further proved our point?

Acie Earl's dominance with the Sydney Kings a few years back was embarrassing though.
