Detroit Pistons Open Practice

Postby KDawg295 on Sun Oct 08, 2006 3:38 am

What's up everyone!?. Just got back from the palace where the pistons had open practice and anyone could come. They ran drills for 45 minutes and then had a scrimmage. The scrimmage consisted of 3 10 minute quarters. It was Blue Vs. White. The scrimmage ended a tie 50 - 50 though the white team held a 12 point lead at one point in the scrimmage.
- Nazr Mohammed looks really good with team.
- McDyess grew out his hair. He sorta has a min-fro.
- If you didn't know, Rip shaved the corn rolls.
- Flip Murray was a solid pickup.
- Amir Johnson and Jason Maxiell looked very impressive.

After the practice, the players gave out autographs.( I Got an auatograph of Rip by the way.) Sheed gave away his shoes and practice jersey. Rip gave away his shoes, Practice jersey and Headband.

Took some pics so tell me if u guys wanna see.

I was planning on going, but I had a mandatory meeting at work. Should be some info about it in the local paper or on the site tomorrow.

I went to an open practice a few years ago for the Timberwolves. Sam Cassell was wearing some sweatpants. A lot of guys really just don't care enough about the games to get real about what they are wearing. I have to say though, what Rasheed did was very interesting.

Rip looks a lot better without the cornrows.

I wonder if Maxiell will get any minutes this year...he's always impressive in the summer league.

you can't have three quarters. you can only have three thirds.

i really don't think we care what colors they wore (which you did tell us) as much as who was in each team (which you didn't tell us).

If you didn't know, Rip shaved the corn rolls.

wtf are corn rolls, a type of food?
