I'm tempted to say Shaq as well, but I'd rather have guard or forward who had more range, in case things came down to a final shot. Duncan and Garnett have range on their jumpers, I'd take one of them...right now, I'll say Duncan.

T-Mac, he has a complete scoring package plus he can do almost anything else on the basketball court. MJ is a close second.

well, he said in the 4th quarter not in the last minute. Shaq would do his show whenever he knows he has to win, that's the case.

I think I'd have to go with Kobe, he's pretty much unstopable in the clutch.

Iverson's defence? Hmm ok.. Iverson can be contained in the fourth quarter.. just watch some tape of the 2001 finals and how the lakers denied him the ball and just face gaurded him.

As for Shaq, he's improved his free throw's a bit.. but its still questionable and if I was the coach and we were down by two id be alot more nervous with shaq headed to the line instead of T-Mac, Iverson, Jordan etc...

Shaq doesn't foul out like he used to, even if you say there's a better player, nobody can stand around him to try to stop him, that's a plus. Regarding Iverson, he's not accurate in his shots and he's not a clutch shooter. If I go for a shooter would be Reggie, without doubt about it. But still I keep my Shaq there.

I'd pick Kobe. He's one of the top all-around players right now. T-Mac would be my next pick.

Vlade did a good job last year in game 4 of the WCF... So i guess he can be contained if played smart. Shaq is limited, in my opinion, to what he can do come crunch time. Tmac is much more complete and thats why i took him.

Divac is the one fouling out everytime they face, and he just keeps crying. Did you see Shaq against Portland 7th game 2 years ago?, wow. lol. he's a machine, even if he doesn't get the MVP he's the most powerful player in the whole league, nobody can stop him, nobody.

Yeah I saw that game. Did you see him in the first 3 quarters? Kobe carried them that game. Shaq had a couple of nice plays but Ko-be won that game for them. Divac did contain Shaq reasonably well.. Shaq, like i said before is limited to what he can do. He's the best at what he does on the court.. but he just isnt complete.

That's just what I meant, he takes the charge when the team needs him. Yeah, maybe the free throws is a bad thing for him but Sacramento paid all that fouling him and shaq was hitting almost 75% of his FT.

Anyway, as a laker fan, I know everytime I've seen the situation, I want the ball to get to shaq hands, not kobe's, not horry's but shaq. And everytime they have done it, it's been with good results.

I'd take Kobe, followed closely by McGrady. They can both shoot the ball, take it to the rim, shoot free throws and create their own shots. You need all these skills to be a good clutch player. I wouldn't go with Shaq or Duncan because they opposition can just foul you and your screwed.

Plus both can create for their teamates and can do other things like rebound, get a defensive stop and basically be everywhere on the court.

And maybe Kobe, TMac, Reggie, Iverson, Garnett etc. It is easy to just send Duncan to the line, where he stinks.

70% is not that bad. I'd like a guy like Iverson who can really create for himself. Iverson, McGrady, Kobe guys like that.
