Kemp experienced travel problems late Sunday night but still arrived in Chicago early Monday morning. Instead of working out with the Bulls, he traveled to his hometown of Elkhart, Ind., to visit an ailing relative.

Now would a guy like Shawn Kemp be willing to be a 12th man and get a ton of DNP-CDs? I don't know, but its not worth the risk, it could cause a distraction.
the bulls should him put him on the preseason roster... let him play some games.. showcase what he has/hasn't. maybe the goodwill the Bulls show to Kemp will result in his agent returning the favor later in some other capacity
