The guy works hard preparing for the new season

yea, he will be back, you'll all haters se, it will be t-mac time, even on his blog in asia he wrote

Then I had to get on the court and get my individual workout done. Even though I am not at home I still do need to get it in.

Started off by getting my shooting workout in. I run through a number of drills on court to make sure I am always working on my game. In order to continue to get better you can't take time off

No wonder his back is fucked up. His form when lifting weights is absolutely terrible. And his arms are twice as big as his calves.

Indeed. And his personal trainer doesn't correct him. Damn, if he continues to go like this, he'll end up in the wheelchair  Stand still while lifting weights and don't "cheat" by using your body and back. That fu*ks you up.

I wouldn't be surprised if he has had that trainer for years. It's kind of strange that no one has picked up on his bad form and notified him, or even the team, about it. Because surely the team trainers and physicians must have noticed. Or if not them, someone else close to him.
And why, when he has had such serious back problems, doesn't he work on his back instead of (arm-) strength and quickness?

He does have that trainer since very early in his career. I mean, so much money is being thrown into this guy and yet nobody tells him a big reason why his back is fucked up is that obvious and easily correctable? And you're right - what the hell do huge arms help you at basketball? You work on your core and balance the strength throughout your body, but this guy has arms twice the size of his legs. And that trainer is supposed to be a professional.

What, you think he spent his youth in the gym? Mother nature gave him muscular body and his size. It's not like he has a skinny stature (don't know if that's the right word) and he built up all those muscles..

Genetics. He was born lucky to have a natural muscular frame.

Every "amateur" that works out regularly (at least once per week) can notice that that's not the way to lift the weights (especially those shoulder raises :o ). Every fitness instructor/trainer always teaches you to not move your back/body while lifting weights. It hurts your BACK and joints terribly..It's not like we're being smartasses or something, it's just that that's really not the way to lift weights :? ...

That doesn't apply to us, but to T-Mac. A basic rule of weighlifting says: keep a good form when lifting weights and don't move your back or you'll fuck it up. T-Mac has a bad form and a back form. We have a good form and healthy backs. Ergo, T-Mac and his trainer are wrong and everybody else are right.

Sorry if your workout regime strongly resembles T-Mac's, but I learned this "rule" not from someone, but from many sources and from several bodybuilding forums where there are guys in kinesthiology and work as professional bodybuilders. If you look in the newest bodybuilding and fitness books, they also mention that keeping a proper form is important to minimize injury.
