what do u think about this?

i dont like it, i know it would be great for china and all to have regular season games held there, but i would just rather have the nba keep them at home.

Wtf does Yao actually tell the team what to do and where to play  .I think preseason games are okay, but regular season game is over the top. (N) .I mean if they want NBA in China then they should make a team or something.I just don't get it ,why play in China?

Players are gonna kill themselves after those 15-20 hours of flight back and forth from US and China... :? Stupid idea, just create another league like CNBA instead...

It's probably just one or two games where they have a long break before or afterwards. They do this because of the obvious marketing opportunities. I wouldn't mind it. I'm not losing anything out of this anyway.

lmao, what kind of bullshit is that? Regular season games in China, that doesn't make no sense at all, why should they play in China? Why should they play anywhere else than North America, after all it's still the NBA...

Who ever came up with that must be some kind of wannabe Rockefeller.

They pick China because a sixth of the globe's population lives there, its a huge market for them. Not a bad idea I dont think. The players get paid millions of dollars, and as long as they get a big break between the games I dont see a problem with it.

The players are going to oppose it, a long game will harm them in the next game.

The NBA doesn't really care what the players think as long as they have a contract signed they can't really do a thing about it.

i think it is great for china, but it almost makes the NBA season seem less, well, important/serious really?

its a superb idea... but i seriously doubt players would be willing to fly 12-15 hours to china, then take a another trip back... its just too far away.

There used to be regular season games in Tokyo didnt there? Like 1, at the start of each season. Well i'm only getting this opinion from NBA Lives 95-97, where there were Tokyo games written into the default (i.e. real) schedule. And i think they came with 5 day breaks after them. Which means those teams would get shorter breaks down the line. Bad idea.

Regular season should be kept in North America where the teams normally play. Pre-Season, they can play where ever they want.
